Wow, Panzer Dragoon and now Steel Battalion for Kinect? I'm listening.
A Kinect/controller hybrid is fine with me.

I thought folks want to see some "core" Kinect games? Phantom Dust and Panzer Dragoon are great classics and most certainly "core". As long as they don't turn it into some childish How to Train Your Dragon crap and actually make it violent then this will be getting my attention.
I'm interested in seeing how they do it and if it's on rails.
Reminds me of a scene from Back 2 the Future 2 where Marty is at the 80's nostalgia diner and plugs in the old arcade game and the kids make fun of him because he has to use his hands.
It's all about adaption and while it feels like it's integral now things can change and it's got to start some where.
A small example of this is Sony removing rumble at the launch of the PS3. Some complained and many just got use to not having it.
Doing "the force" without holding anything is the whole novelty of Kinect. If I'm doing it with 2 move controllers I might as well just be holding a DS3.
I have faith in the development community to come up with some interesting ways at controls using Kinect. I'm sure there will be lots of fail but if one gets it right it will become standard. You/we/us are not necessarily the smartest guys in the room.

When OXM asked them why the Saber portions of the game felt like Crimson Skies Bungie replied they got one of the lead devs who worked on it doing all the flight controls.
I'm hearing it feels just like Crimson Skies in space and that is already a bonus!!
I would love an XBLA Halo Saber fighter game ala Crimson Skies!!
I hope they both do well. Both developers deserve good sales for their hard work. Both of these games look to be stellar AAA's.
Many fine shooters on the PC listed here and there is nothing wrong with that. I plan on getting some Reach time in on my 360 "as well"(not "instead").
They could also be buying all the back catalog games second hand.
I know of a person who bought a 360 recently and then went and bought a bunch of used games until Reach. Even newer titles like Alan Wake and Crackdown 2 you can already find for second hand.

I am hearing Normal which is the default is rather easy. If you want to see the AI at work take these guy's advice and play it on Legendary.

ODST was a wierd game for me. It felt different enough to not be just DLC but it also felt lacking in content. I've had games with much less but I just expected more from Bungie on it since they were charging the full admission.
The original Steel Battalion controller was epic! hah
