After reading the text, I wonder how GamePro was so nice to give such a high score.
This game is promising. It has great graphics and I usually like city building. However, the developer could give us a little bit more about gameplay and options.
Best review so far. At least he writes in a language understood by his peers and it would prove very effective to parents wondering if their kids will like it.
I just ordered mine. I hope I will have it next week.
Good to know some developers can remember the fact the Wii have online capability.

I recall spending some coins in Space Invaders back in the late 70s - I guess - when it was the coolest machine in the arcade. Still, I hope they are planning to release it as a WiiWare game.

I don't think is that much of a problem. I don't need to check reviews of the discount DVD table to know most of them don't deserve my money. New gamers may not have much knowledge about the industry but price should give them an indicator of quality. Eventually, some brands will get recognition and will be stronger than price. Every single market works like this and games will not be different.

Is there any serious study about the Wii being a second console in the household? This is taken as granted by many so called analysts but I never heard of any hard data. I wonder if this isn't one more myth.
Perhaps Nintendo got it right. We have an expanded game market and the new customers are still exploring what third parties can offer. If that's the case, I am not surprised they rely in Nintendo to get some quality games.

Check vg-chartz to more details. For what I understand they are not considering charging for online playing, but they will allow companies to sell online add-ons, such as Guitar Heroes tunes, to games. This is actually a good thing.
Technically, the graphics are great. However, in the artistic side, they look as bad as the movie.
I remember spending hours playing Elite. Perhaps it will fly again.

As much as I distrust TV journalism, I have to say the piece was pretty well done. They hired IGN to do the review, which is not only accurate but very favourable. I wish most TV game news were in this quality level.
