This list is off the mark. It includes Neverwinter Nights but not the far superior Torment and they even go further to list Diablo, which is not a rpg.
I never played Mario Power Tennis so this will be a new title for me. However, after the lackluster Sega Super Stars Tennis I am not very hyped to try another take on Mascot's sports.
The funny thing is: what he was expecting? To have big names such as Sony, Gamespot, Target, or Amazon associating themselves with them?
Sidar, the only thing I am sure about Nintendo next console is that it will cost about US$ 250.00 and will offer the best graphics possible at this price and still give Nintendo a few bucks at each sale. Fortunately, in a few years, this will includes HD graphics.
Actually, before the introduction of consoles with hard disks, it was the lack of paths that convinced me it would be better to move from the PC to consoles for playing games. If you allow patches, quality suffers as developers assume they can release any crap they want while customers keep waiting for a patch that may never be released.
This is outrageous, it seems that Eidos is following Microsoft steps in relation to quality control.
I'll be more eager to see Libertadores da America, the South American cup, in PES.
Monopolies always suck. I hope somebody else will be able to have a fair chance to compete with EA Sports as many of their games really need some improvement.

7 - Better fans is obvious a naive criticism. Fanboys are always annoying regardless of what they are fan of.
5 & 2 - I agree with the graphics issue. I haven't see anything in the PS3 that couldn't be done in the PS2, except for the superior graphics. I used to see people looking at the Wii remote for the first time and having something like a revelation.

Capcom is pleasing their high definition (PS3/360) customers by telling them they will have something others cannot. However, as always, they will make versions to the popular systems (Wii/DS/PSP) and make some real money.
I don't recall 4D Boxing to include avatars that could be used in many games under the system. Microsoft personal keep embarrassing themselves with these claims.
First major site review and quite positive. I guessed Wii Music reviews will show a lot of variance, with hardcore press slamming it -- as IGN will likely do -- whereas the mainstream press praising it. Interesting that 1Up liked it, but I think the fact the reviewer is trained in music makes all the difference.
The author miss the point. Miis are popular because they are easy to create. They are easy to create because they do offer a sizeable but not very big amount of options. If you give too many options, most people will be frustrated by not being able to create the avatar they want.
I liked the pictures. Sadly, I don't believe in screenshots anymore.
Controls were fair and graphics were poor, as the review tells. However, it miss the point that the story was weak and the confidence engine was broken (it allowed one group decrease their confidence on you despite the fact they had no knowledge of your actions).
Isn't this review somewhat late? Also, they are too kind with their grade. Double Agent was the only title in the Splinter Cell series I found to be a poor game.
Curious, unlike the author, I find more embarrassing to have a picture with myself with a plastic guitar than with a Wii remote playing Wii Music.

Fantastic! EA Sports is now introducing point passing in FIFA but the distance is becoming even larger to the new PES.
The question is not if Nintendo is preparing a high definition machine -- they are obviously planning it -- but when it will be released. My guess is that they will do it closer to Microsoft than Sony this time.
I agree with many of the points but not the fact movies storylines are, many times, different from games. Two different medias requires different approaches. Games have a lot of repetitive action, which would be boring in a movie. Obviously, I am not saying the game based movies so far got it right -- they didn't -- but they have to do it in a different way.
