I personally don't have a problem with reviews. Like you, they're very informative to me. What I DO have a problem with is how that final score for a game has been bent over and ankle-grabbed by publishers, console makers, game lobbyists, Doritos, Mt. Dew...you name it.
Message to gamers: READ the reviews. SCREW the final score.

THIS. The difference between 900p and 1080p, visually, is minimal. However, couple that with higher AA/better textures/better lightning in games, with an impressive/larger library of exclusives/indies...eliminatin g the price difference doesn't eliminate the VALUE difference. It's just reality, at this point...

The big question for me is: what "TYPE" of exclusive? Like, "the only way you're going to play this game is on the Xbox One"-type of exclusive, "Titanfall"-type exclusive, or just a timed-exclusive. It makes a difference...
Are we doing this again? "Oh, it got a perfect/near perfect score with a magazine that's been rumored/confirmed to take money/gifts for good review scores! I must buy it NOW!?1" :-/
Do yourselves a favor: wait 7 days. If your research on the game still warrants a buy, then buy full price. If not, then...you can thank me in bubbles.

That makes it alright for an online-only game? The point is that the VALUE for a game like this is obviously the online competitive modes, and one of the most popular were CTF. For Respawn to do this after 2 months on the market is a SHAFT to gamers, period...

I think he's speaking for alot of gamers. It looks very similar to the Wolfenstein that came out on Xbox 360/PS3, a few years ago. Nothing really new or impressive. I'm not saying I'm not going to get it for PS4, just...not full price.
As long as it's past generation/obsolete systems, I have no problem with it. Hundreds of games per PS1/PS2/PS3 system, possibly? This is what GAMERS want, and the corporation taking a little something for themselves. Why did you guys who bought games digitally think they would follow you ANYWHERE?! People buy digitally because it's convenient/lazy (I know there are some situations where people just CAN'T get games any other way), but your purchases were never really linked to ANYTHING. Even with me saying this to you now, you'll STILL buy your games digitally, won't you? That's not a SONY problem, that's a "you won't get off the couch" pro...
Just bring the games, SONY. This is a FAIL if you don't launch PSNow with a LARGE library of PS1/PS2/PS3 games (200+ per system), anything less would have gamers get a used ps3 and a gamefly subscription instead. We'll pay whatever price (within reason), just bring a STRONG count of games. Don't piss away this opportunity, SONY...
