You know what I did, today? I was bored, so I started playing some of my old PS1 & PS2 games. Good grief. It was CLEARLY a simpler time in gaming. Why? Were there no major issues in society? Yeah, of course there were. But games were NOT considered the same as movies, music, television...it was a person's fantasy world AWAY from the BS of mainstream society. So I'll say it like this: leave the homosexual agendas, the ethnic inuendos, and the political Jedi mind tricks OUT...
If you drove down the street, and there were two competing steakhouse restaurants across the street from each other, and restaurant A had a higher quality steak FOR THE SAME PRICE, you made restaurant A your place to eat steak. Makes sense, right? Well, restaurant B started doing underhanded deals with the cooks of restaurant A to make the steak quality to be the same or worse (resolution parity, frame rate issues). What would you say/do when you discovered that? Let me guess: "I don...
Agreed. So...do you agree that the PS4 is "better" than Xbox One, this generation? For the EXACT same reason you gave for last gen?
Watch how he doesn't respond...*smh* Xbots...lol
I'll put it to you like this: COD Ghosts on PS4 was 1080p/60fps. If it's not that this time, then...you know who got the big payday. Plus, all the bugs and frame rate issues with the PS4/PC versions, it almost seems like a sabotage job. Sad...
THIS so much. PS4/PC owners shouldn't enable Activision and this type of "parity" behavior. People paid good money for their gaming machine of choice. They deserve all the graphical goodness that system can muster, ESPECIALLY PC. And Xbox One owners can continue getting...whatever it is that they've been getting... :o
So. Now that we got the specs out of the way conclusively for the Xbox One version, and Sledgehammer was so NICE enough to tell us how honest a group of guys they are, how long will it take for news to break on how the PS4 version "just doesn't play right" a la COD Ghosts, because...?
AND...the lower frame rates. Don't forget the lower frame rates for a twitch shooter that they'd like you to get out of your system talking about, also...
I'm not paying for a demo, I don't care. Now publishers, what you COULD do to EARN more sales with upcoming games without screwball tactics is what a few games have done back in the day: make a game that you don't expect to make PHENOMENAL sales from, and add a sneek peak/5 minute demo of your upcoming big hit. A game that did that was Zone of the Enders with a sneek peak at MGS2. What's wrong with that?
Some of these comments...I just don't think a regular gamer is looking at EA, MS, & this situation and saying, "You know, I'm just gonna give them the benefit of the doubt". Maybe...some of these comments are on someone's payroll? *raises eyebrow*
So let me get this straight: a group of developers who are under the umbrella of a big money-making-machine publisher named Activision, that just throws a makeshift story and tweak a couple of multiplayer features every year to produce TOO MANY millions every year like clockwork...you expect THOSE GUYS to fine tune their game a lot more than what's been revealed in June because...they SHOULD? Because...it's what players DESERVE? The right thing to do by COD/Xbox One fans? You expec...
Digital Foundry just did an analysis on the Xbox One version of COD: Advanced Warfare, based off of the E3 presentation. 900p/30-40fps average, the first time it's dipped low in FPS like that since the Xbox/PS2 days. THIS...is the platform for "competitive gaming"? :-/
In the words of Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson, "Child, please!"
A good step in the right direction. What's left, you ask?
1) PS1/PS2 games in 1080p/60fps, like you teased earlier this year
2) PS3 games in PS Now that had servers cutoff to be restored (you would have SO MANY PS Now members just from restored clan battles on Warhawk, Resistance 2, MAG, etc.)
3) Unlimited-access subscription model, please (I'd pay up to $50/month, with the changes I mentioned earlier)
Don't piss away this potenti...
...or MAYBE, Hideo Kojima said to himself: "a LOCKED 60fps is worth more than a higher resolution. IF...I had to develop for a platform where I have to give-n-take..."
Yeah. It's Xbox One's problem. THEY made the hardware choices they made with the system, for WHATEVER reason. I'm a console gamer, and I want the most bang for my buck. And the PS4 version costs the same price? No contest...
I don't know. If this is as major of an investment as SONY is letting on, they can't sh*t the bed on this. The VR aspect of Morpheus has to be ready-to-go, but...it would behoove SONY to have this device also use as a HMD. I need compatibility with ALL my PS4 games with this device, VR or not...
Here we go. More "we can do this!" and "we can do that! Trust us!" *sighs*
No single player. And to be online-only, there wasn't enough content to hold the average gamer's attention...
"EA hopes to benefit from 'great fight' among consoles"
You can start by stop sucking Microsoft's CockMeatSandwich...*smh*
Because...he's broke. Hey, that's great...lol.
Where are the PS1/PS2 games? Where are the PS3 games with restored multiplayer servers (MAG, Resistance 2)? Where is the unlimited subscription package? What I'm trying to say is...where is the VALUE? :-/
"I would expect the next AC game to widen the diversity parameters, a bit."
Why would you expect that? Why is it that developers seemed "forced" to diversify their games for whatever political group makes noise? That's BS...if a woman/man wants to make a game with a heroine lead, do that. African-American lead, Catholic lead, transgender lead, whatever...do it, if you want! My thing is, just don't try to FORCE the gaming community into some pol...
