That's what you call "excuses". It's NO surprise that 1080p/60fps is what's hotly debated, THAT should be a priority above everything else. Can't have two different versions running at the same time? Oh well, because if you bring Halo 2 to market, a 2 gen-old game, NOT being 1080p/60fps, for WHATEVER reason, Xbots won't hear the end of it.

When this game had first broke news on N4G about a month or so ago, the article (don't have a link) showed early screenshots. One screen was a weapon screen, where the gun highlighted was read as "N166@" gun. I don't know if this Russian development crew were just showing that weapon in the game (at that time) for publicity/controversy (a la Far Cry 4), but...they've got my attention. But not my money...
I'd pay up to $50/month for the service honestly, if it was an UNLIMITED access to PS1, PS2, & PS3 games. But...it's not. So... I won't.
1) PS1 & PS2 game libraries added
2) a sub price with UNLIMITED game access
3) PS3 games with servers cutoff to be restored on PS Now (MAG, Resistance 2, Motorstorm PR, etc)...
Anything less than these 3 scenarios met, SONY can go screw themselves. And that would be sad too, based off of its POTENTIAL...

More marketable would be 9.99/month a la Music Unlimited. And I'd be only good with that if there were PS1/PS2 games, 200+ PS3 games, and some type of assurance that PS3 PSNow games with servers cut off will be reinstated (Motorstorm: PR, Resistance 2, MAG, etc). You're talking about ANOTHER subscription for SONY (Music Unlimited, PS+, PS Now), after all... :-/

Ubisoft, as much as you'd like to shove details of The Division in our faces, can you reveal details on how you've PURPOSELY downgraded the PC version of Watchdogs, and left the high-quality effects coded into the game, just so you could "flip the switch" later for a fee? But I see the article's argument. If you're over 30, your gaming hobby company of choice is selling their iconic characters as figurines with McDonald Happy Meals!
