Epic Failure Games. It's gonna be a big seller, why not ensure long term sales by setting a little money aside to pay for some central servers? Half assed nonsense.
Did he actually lie? Maybe he eventually did, but for a while there, every day in new N4G articles he was creatively dodging questions left and right.
I may not remember correctly, but at one point in an interview a little while ago, I thought I read him saying that the game he was working on may be a car combat game, but "may or may not be" called "Twisted Metal". To me that was the giveaway, cause if it WASN'T Twisted Metal, they would only be sabot...

You won't be getting Temple either since it's not in the film.
If you are having problems getting it to work, make sure you fast travel from someplace (I did from Macfarlane Ranch), but DONT set the waypoint exactly on the hideout. Make it a little south of Soloman's Folly on the main road. Just helped a buddy do it as well. This is on PS3 by the way, not sure about the 360 version.
If you go to online private match, then go to Soloman's Folly, you can just press left on the d-pad over and over and get 400 XP every 8 seconds or so if you have expert targetting mode selected.
UC2 might be a beacon of hope, BUT EA SURE AS HELL ISN'T.
The black smoke and flames coming off the buildings looked really beefy. The particle effects and explosions are whats most important.
How come Sega couldn't keep the lid on it? Their company is sloppy.
This game will become a strong seller as long as they can get the multiplayer to be really addictive and fun and balanced, with Killzone-esque clan creation etc. The emphasis on teamwork in the online modes and the inclusion of the helicopter really appeals to me. This is the first time the series has really been able to shine online, and it seems like his team is doing what it takes to ensure the multiplayer has depth to it and remains enjoyable for many months/years after release.

Not interested in playing games where the setting is all these illegal wars. If it's not real justice it's hard for me to feel proud of the effort that goes into winning the single player campaign.
Soundtrack sounds similiar to Twisted Metal 2; plenty of shred guitar. Good call on that.
This article is trying way too hard. PSP is just Sony's little side project, the PS3 is on top in terms of hardware.
Dude it's ACTIVISION, and they don't even have Pierce Brosnan. I'm not even sure if I can bring myself to play a game that strays from the original movie like this. Did they even TRY to get Brosnan involved? I highly doubt it. They probably think fans are too stupid or don't care to notice.
Hmm, if this is true, I guess they really don't want people to buy the game afterwall. No one wants to play as cheap filler characters, we want Sage-mode Jiraiya etc etc. Couldn't fit all that good stuff on a DVD I guess.
DS player for the Wii? Should've done that a long time ago.
There is a slight loss of graphical clarity with 3D according to some things I've read. That's what I thought this was going to be about. IGN becomes less of a news site with this type of thing.
Send an email of displeasure back at them. Or hold up a sign that says "IGN sucks" when they go live on camera.
The part about exclusives actually does a disservice to the PS3 I think. By only mentioning God of War 3 and Metal Gear Solid 4, it makes it seem like there aren't LOTS of PS3 exclusives. The majority of games are multiplatform, but there are more than just a handful of PS3 exclusives.
A game that disrespects the 007 legacy by playing mix and match with the actors doesn't deserve any hype whatsoever. They might do enough in the end to make the game enjoyable enough to rent, but I wouldn't dare pay for this game out of sheer principle.
Put it this way: I paid 70 dollars for the original Goldeneye 64 at launch. Am I going to pay another 50 to play a gimped remake that won't be providing nearly the amount of enjoyment as the original? Burn in hell ...
