If the stages and atmosphere is as boring or if the story is overtly violent as in Twisted Metal Black, you shouldn't even bother making a new game cause I won't be buying it. Why don't you speculate as to some gameplay improvements or level design or graphical features instead? I don't care to speculate about what the name of it is gonna be. Need some substance.
The problem is that most of Nintendo's main games don't have anywhere near the replay value compared to the games you find on PS3 and 360. You can rent any of Nintendo's first party titles and be pretty much completely done with them before the 3-5 day limit is up.
A big part of gaming nowadays is meeting new people online and competing. Those are the games that last and make me want to purchase them.
Worthy of a rental, definitely not a purchase. Nice to have the Wii Speak added in but there isn't a single game I that I want which utilizes it.
It's not easy finding a good team to play with who all communicate well on Killzone 2 either, and it is only 32 players max. I'm satisfied with KZ2's interface and squad system though, I know its the other players that suck when I get in a game and nothing is going right or no one is on their mic at all.
If the author is correct about those types of interface features he mentioned that are lacking in MAG, that's a pretty big oversight it would seem.
Not interested in the television aspect. Killer internet only for a better price please.
When I can predict the first image I see to be a Helghast, you know I'm not gonna bother reading the article.
Waiting for the install is just allowing the excitement to grow. It's a burden my 320 GB hard drive is designed to handle.
That Homebrew program CLAIMS you can use it to play DVDs, but I could never get it to work.
Uncharted 2 has great graphics and textures, but I think the multiplayer Killzone graphics outshine the multiplayer UC2 graphics, which is what I'm usually playing. The lighting in particular is phenomenal, and gives you the right confidence you need to sneak around and make covert kills, especially when using the cloak perk.
That would actually be pretty cool probably. Nintendo should make one good multiplayer game utilizing it.
If Smash Bros. wasn't gimped, that would have gone a long way to soften my opinion of the Wii, considering I was satisfied with my Gamecube and Melee, RE4, and Harvest Moon for several years. The only game for Wii I have been truly satisfied with is Mario Kart. Smash Bros. and Twilight Princess were lacking, Metroid Prime 3 had no replay value or multiplayer mode.
As for 3rd party games, The Conduit can't hold it's own against the many other FPS on the market, on-rails shooters a...
The combo breaker system wasn't exactly easy to pull off despite being a rock paper scissors system, and the combinations themselves were kind of mind boggling as well alot of times in order to perform the truly most complex combos. Auto doubles, linkers, jump-in auto doubles, shadow combos. Definitely a more in depth combo system than any other game at the time, even if they were "automatic" in some ways. The better player doing the combo breakers can then retaliate with the faste...
Killer Instinct??!?! LETS DO THIS. I DON'T GIVE A RAT'S TOOTSIE ROLL ABOUT THE OTHERS. 35 dollars for the remake, that's my final offer.
Doesn't matter who you are talking to, either online or in the real world: many people are disappointed with Nintendo and/or see the Wii as a passing fad.
The bottom line is, Nintendo isn't currently doing anything the other 2 can't. All Sony/Microsoft has to do is make some comparable sports games combined with their new price point, shine the graphics up and use the motion controls well, and then what? What leverage does Nintendo have then? Their reputation? Even if the instal...
The article was weak but the underlying question was good. What is Nintendo gonna do? Not even they themselves profess to know at this point.
Regardless of what points about the Wii you think are true or untrue, many people are clearly unsatisfied with this approach and have made their voices known, and this will be reflected in the sales of their next console if Nintendo continues down this road. It's obvious that SOMETHING must be done, as they no longer have the monopoly on mo...
It's good for the present but the next generation is going to get here eventually. Is Nintendo really banking on a 10-year model ala Sony? From the interviews I've read seen, I don't think they are psychologically prepared for the bubble they have created.
Nintendo's over-reliance on control innovation or other gimmick won't work next time. Back in 2006, there was much more uncertainty about:
1)what Nintendo as a whole was trying to represent
2)the types of g...
Homebrew Channel single-handedly destroyed the Mario Kart online experience, thats good enough reason to hate it. On the other hand, its utterly essential to play import japanese Wii titles like the Naruto Ex games. Nintendo just needs to suck it up and accept that it exists, and think about their decision to region-lock games and use the DVD format for their next console.
If it can play Goldeneye 4 players with no frame rate issues then no, it's not being overhyped.
Wish he wouldn't bullshit us about the lag in Super Smash Bros.
That's not money coming out of the barrel, that's worthless paper. End the Fed.
