From what i have seen on this game, me and my son will have hours of fun with this.. Mazzingerz comment is totally right. This game is not made for adults and reviews should reflect this. A review should inform the buying public if the game is right for them, half the time reviews are just ego based bullshit.. Some of these so called reviewers are just bad for the industry period. Its a shame really that most reviewers have to even give a score really - just because most of the "general ...
Pro microsoft bullshit... (havnt read article but...)
I think people, myself included are idiots... and don't see a contract as "real money" spent. So yes i think a £99 deal over two years would entice alot of people over here definitely.
You've only gotta look at what the buying public spend on smart phones over a 2 year contract, its crazy!
Xbox may still outsell Ps4 in the states... Which is fair enough, folks over there are supporting their home grown hardware.
I'm in UK and will be getting a PS4 however...
I don't think its because new gen is coming.. towards the end of a consoles cycle there is a huge installed user base. The reason for slight drop in interest is simply because it is getting stale.. period.
The problem is the platform... If future consoles could indeed offer backwards compatibility all the way up the chain then great but they don't currently. Steam however offers its customers games on an account/platform that can be played 10-15 years from now on totally different hardware if needed... that's the difference.
Microsoft aren't promising that yet... They had the right idea but they couldnt promise that in 7 years time when they start talking about thei...
no the disagrees are because the whole thing is fukin pointless.. you are seriously telling me you havnt got enough hdmi ports to have two consoles plugged in? I mean.. come on seriously?
Also why oh why would anyone wanna have two consoles running at the same time and swap between games? You obviously dont pay the electric bills in your house...
What? just so you can say "xbox, now give me uncharted 8..."
Its just laziness and its ...
I could be wrong but isnt it the case that you never really own any media you buy? You just have the means to play it as much as you like on your own copy but you cant do whatever you like with it. The product is still owned by the publisher?
Also i could be wrong on this again but if PS4 and Xbox have X86 architecture wont this make backwards compatibility easier for the next gen?
If Microsoft and Sony can provide a cloud account like steam where you know yo...
...cause we're idiotic consumers who'll buy anything to make our lives feel less empty, yay!
activision are c$%ts
I'm sorry silent negotiator your view is very short sighted... Do you not see that the piracy committed by children of the 80s and 90s helped grow the consumer base to what is today. Also f2p can be a viable model IF the actual game is decent (tribes ascend). Make a great game and people Will want to spend money on it and the market is so large now it can support that. Too many games released by large publishers are sub standard or "unfinished" and they still expect us to pay 30...
The sky thing only will enhance the experience and the players sense of immersion.
Also just because they are doing this does it necessarily follow that they are "loosing sight of what's important in a racing game"?... I don't think so.
tiremfej,
Its "couldn't care less" meaning you care so little that there is no room to care any less...
"could care less" makes no sense :)
fuck EA and Microsoft.. both despicable companies.. Sony onthe other hand doesn't buy exclusive full games, it cultivates relationships with these developers and nurtures them which is good for the industry AND it puts its money into development of risky titles. THIS is good for the industry and pushes it forward.. NOT just spending a fortune on a game thats already being made so that a whole segment of the consumer base cannot even now try it. MS are bad for games long term.. mark my wor...
no it doesn't voodooRob.. no it doesn't...
Is it me or can no one on here string a proper sentence together this morning?
"The game awards points to players for killing people"
um... no it doesn't.
its wired...
What about a single player game that every now and then throws you into someone elses game at certain random points in the campaign... You'll see these other players and be like "wow.. another survivor" and then can play with them until they die.
Its not an over heating issue like RROD. This is a manufacturing "one off" fault or firmware problem more like it.
We were always going to get these articles, we'll get the same when xbox one is released. We have around 2 billion people using the internet and out of all the first adopters of PS4 you are bound to get a few failures and these failures will naturally get posted on you tube when they happen. It doesnt mean its wide spread, the internet has got a hab...
