The Nintendo fan base is a peculiar thing. One game gets announced and the fans spend months making memes and social games between themselves in the build up and long after. Look at bowsette and then Smash shortly after. I genuinely think the most hard-core Nintendo players spend more time on pointless joke threads than on the game of choice
I played Rise of the Tomb Raider on 1 console and not ONCE do i remember thinking to myself "Wow this game is fun!"

Watch Dogs was the first time I'd ever actually felt hard done by when it came to bullshots and announcement trailers. So many details and effects missing. The game had huge potential for this sprawling open world that lived and breathed with countless interactive opportunities.
Then it released and all that was stripped back.

Catch 22 as they say. I mean if they keep going with the Souls series for much longer they'll be seen as unoriginal and playing it safe anyway. Pretty soon the Souls series is going to need a refresh and take some risks.
