Last gameplay demo looked a little rough.
Shame there’s a lot of politics surrounding the game with the whole boycott going on but we’ll see if that actually impacts sales.
Returnal was great, for sure and really showed what Housemarque is capable of as a studio.
I agree with your point about the Bungie purchase, it seems…strange BUT I’ll wait and see what the new IP they’re working on turns out to be as there may be more to it than just purchasing for Destiny.
@Sully
Your name is literally SullysCigar - says enough about your stance alone.
Ah so you’re talking about Bethesda then & not the topic: Activision? Noted. You do love to pick and choose your battles with moving goalposts.
“Defend Microsoft to the hilt”
Just yesterday I spoke about the state of Halo & have praised Sony in the past as my main console and platform of choice but hey, you do you.
It’s ...
Just like all of the armchair developers on this site, there’s a lot of armchair lawyers and crystal ball owners, it seems.
Is that in writing? Is there anywhere they said games will all become exclusive? So I put it to you, good sir, wHaT tHe HeLl ArE yOu TaLkInG aBoUt?
I have both a PlayStation and Xbox and have been more of a Sony gamer since I was about 6 back in 1999 so to respond to your incorrect assumption, the problem here is that the hive mind assume anyone saying anything positive about Xbox and negative about Sony must only own an Xbox and must be paid for by Microsoft and must be a hypocrite if things were on the other foot.
This is a dumb statement,
“ Shall we talk about what happened with Sony's purchas...
Judging by how graphically demanding it looks, I doubt it but we’ll see.
I wonder if the opinions displayed by the members on this site would be the same if Sony were the ones trying to buy Activision Blizzard.
Oculus Quest 2 was great up until they forced Facebook integration, but I’m sure they eventually back-pedalled on that decision. Then they jacked the price up.
Exactly.
People act as if Jim Ryan is any better.
Jim Ryan has had many anti consumer changes under his leadership. Andrew House was peak.
As expected.
Another middle of the road title by Square Enix.
@andy - completely disagree.
It’s all a matter of taste.
You think the quality of games on PS Extra is better than that of GamePass, I do not, & that’s alright, it’s subjective.
Not really excellent value for money when it cost me £90 odd for the year. They recently ran a promo where you could extend your PS plus. I wanted to downgrade and extend because I wasn’t making use of the higher tiers due to them only really adding older games b...
@Mr
Having owned PS since the PS1 and Xbox since the One X. I can assure you that in no way PS+ Extra is comparable to GamePass.
That’s a blind fanboy comparison if every I’ve seen one. The PS+ overhaul is widely criticised for its lackluster changes. Credit where credit is due, at least it’s better than PSNow because that service was abysmal, especially at launch all those years ago.
Until Sony start putting first party exclusives or b...
Unsurprising - look at the state of Halo.
Careful, you’re speaking sense.
No point trying to be logical with a fanboy, mate.
It’s hilarious really.
“AnOtHeR pAiD aRtIcLe By MiCrOsOfT”
“mIcRoSoFt PaId ThEm OfF”
You’re either a gamer or you’re a fanboy. Sadly this site is crawling with the latter.
That’s fair, if you enjoyed it then go for it.
Different strokes for different folks & all that.
Really feel Sony could be doing more with marketing for the game though. Feels almost as if they know it’s going to get a lukewarm reception.
Not for me, that demo was awful imo.
If you enjoyed the demo and are planning on picking it up, more power to you.
@Pork
@Logic
There’s absolutely no point. You can’t have a civil debate with a hypocritical fanboy who uses immature sarcasm in their responses.
