I’m not one who, when hyped for a game will excuse negative to average reviews as bias but it’s clear that this review has a bias given the author.
Lol.
I don’t know, I would’ve banked on them giving a lower score to avoid the backlash from those boycotting the game and attempting to bully and cancel anyone who buys it but hey, even sometimes IGN can be surprising.
Can I ask, have you played the game yet?
Looks good but will be something I’d only use if I knew I had some free time coming up, subscribe for a month and blitz a few of their better titles before unsubscribing until new offerings are added.
The fact this costs more than both GamePass & PS Plus Extra is ridiculous considering both the quality and number of titles offered.
@Julian - it doesn’t always have to be PS Vs Xbox, you know.
I think it’s a fair question to ask if a service is coming to someone’s desired platform because, as @Goose has stated, they thought it was coming to Sony platforms as well; however, this article is only tagged with Xbox, potentially causing confusion, so I don’t feel there’s any need to jump down someone’s throat simply for asking a question for clarification.
One of my favourite games of last year.
Excellent horror with some relatively tough puzzles and scares. The game is leaps and bounds ahead of other smaller titles released last year like Oxide Room 104 & St Dinfna Hotel.
Highly recommend. It would be an absolute treat in VR.
100%.
I can’t recall which leaker it was but there was a rumour floating about that we may not see a mid-gen refresh (PS5 Pro) and they’re focusing on PS6 development.
Could listen to Cerny talk for hours. Incredibly intelligent individual.
Cautiously optimistic with this one.
On one hand it looks like a MH clone without the depth and it’s published by EA.
On the other hand it’s a new IP and not much has been shown so we could be in for some surprising game mechanics and monster designs.
The marketing for this game is practically non-existent though.
Watched some gameplay from WorthABuy and even though that guy has a massive PC bias, the gameplay…it looked so bad, the protagonist does not stop talking and it’s so cringe and out of place.
To be fair, the more I play it, the more I enjoy it and when I’ve not been playing it today whilst working, I’ve been looking forward to getting on it.
To be a GOTY contender, you don’t need the big flashy narrative, linear, story driven experiences nor do you need deep rpg elements like Elden Ring.
I wouldn’t say the game is a 10/10 or something I’d mark as GOTY but it’s definitively an 8 on gameplay alone so far.
@Everton, that’s decent.
Got it for £50 new, done one playthrough and got £35 cash trading in.
I try to keep games in my collection now but I just would never go back to Callisto.
@Crimson. Value is always a factor when deciding new game purchases. ACG literally base their entire review system around ”buy, wait for sale, never touch”, for example.
I didn’t tell anyone that it wasn’t worth it to them. I simply stated that in my ...
That’s a pretty big thing to skip, mate.
“They just need to release that what they announce.”
Please read that back, out loud, and tell me you cannot see the issue with Microsoft Xbox and the overall direction they’re taking when it comes to development & marketing.
Yesterday I said all they do is “talk” and I got shot down for it yet here you are, confirming what I said in other words.
Let’s hope for some posit...
Enjoyable? Yes.
Worth RRP or even close to it? No.
The most recent game I regret buying at launch.
Glad you got enjoyment out of it though!
Pleasantly surprised after playing for a couple of hours last night. Didn’t expect this from Tango at all.
Again, you clearly fail to read and your responses are speculative and rife with insecurity, so I will not be entertaining this discussion any further.
Cope with the fact Xbox is fumbling this generation so far.
Not what I said at all.
Only Minecraft Legends wasn’t for me, I have praised Forza. Take your bias glasses off for a second and read correctly.
I said Phil talks a lot and doesn’t do much, as evidenced by the poor Xbox exclusive library to date. Please quote me where I said “Phil is bad”.
“Take an L” - very childish.
They showed five games, several of which we...
Quite a closed minded way to put it.
Let’s start with the obvious one, shall we?
ESO: not an exclusive, not anything to shout about, a chapter for a relatively popular MMO.
Moving on: Forza was revealed July 2020. In case you are blissfully unaware, it’s 2023 & we still don’t have a release date.
Minecraft Legends: not for me but I’m sure others will enjoy it, I’m impartial.
Hi-Fi Rush: lovely s...
Cope.
Forza looks great, I’ve said that.
The rest…not so much.
So it looks like Wild Hearts may be their first decent game in a while…and their last. Amazing. EA gonna EA.
