Why is it a crazy thing to say. He's just stating the obvious.
A person with a powerful rig has no need for an xbox or PS4.
I haven't touched my PS4 since I upgraded my GPU. It very hard going back to 30 FPS.
In a perfect world every game would just release on PC and have cross-platform play.
The number of agrees make me think gamers' poor interpretation of statements are just as bad (or worse) as the gaming jour...
I remember Titanfall and SF5 being considered exclusives despite releasing on PC.
The definition of a console exclusive has changed I suppose.
I'd buy it right now if HL3 released on it.
I really didn't like her much at all.
Didn't find her the least bit attractive either.
MS will continue to make xbox consoles. It's just another PC for them and Live alone makes it worth keeping.
Their gaming business focus will include a lot more PC, however. and eventually they'll try and make every PC with capable hardware xbox compatible, or should I say games for windows compatible.
Pretty sure all MS cares about is maintaining and growing Live Gold subscriptions. They'll try again on PC and probably use Halo to do it.
Way to keep it professional Raj.
The only games I'd get from the W10 store are MS exclusives.
I think Satya Nadella and MS shareholders are putting the pressure on the xbox division to make more money and cut fat.
Praise for a severely prolonged delay???
Already bought a PS4, then I built a gaming PC and haven't touched my PS4 since except for netflix (W10 netflix app is terrible and hardly works properly). Would much prefer just to game on PC with all of the games.
Only PS4 games i want are Uncharted 4 and Zero Dawn. But if I didn't already have it, I wouldn't buy one for just two games.
With a story driven game like this, I prefer a solid 10-15 hours that I would happily play over again a couple of times than 35hrs that I'd play only once, and drags on after 15hrs because it's mostly filler, and that I'd celebrate when it's finally over.
QB and Uncharted are my most anticipated first party games this year. And I had no interest in QB until I heard it was coming on PC.
Exactly, which is why the majority of gamers won't care that a game also releases on PC.
It's really just a vocal minority crying about it and a sensationalist headline driven gaming media, which sources most headlines from the loudest, angriest, never happy with anything, complaint prone fanboys on the internet.
But it has all of us talking about it so I guess the formula works.
You would have been better off just spending all that money on a PC and played the same games at higher settings and avoided Live/PSN annual fees.
Moreover, why did EVERYONE consider Titanfall an xb1 exclusive when it released on PC and 360? Seriously, the measure of an exclusive just a year ago used to be between xb1 and PS4 game libraries only. Why did all the xb1 owners suddenly change their minds and start crying about sharing games with PC?
Halo 5 only sold like 3.5 million. It used to sell 2 million in a month.
Give me Halo on PC and make it a top FPS again.
B/C is a feature that people want but hardly use.
I used it once on PS3 and never used it on PS1. I tried MGS3 for about 30 minutes then stopped because the graphics were so terrible. Even the screen resolution was weird.
I still have my PS3 and have no desire to play any old games.
The only time I like replaying old games is on PC with a new GPU or a remaster like TLOU.
Phil wants to bring more games to more people, oh, what a horrible person.
PS4 can do 1080p60 FPS right now and look better than PS3 games (look at Metro). It doesn't because devs in almost all cases choose to sacrifice performance for more details/higher effects because performance doesn't market as well.
It's a conscious decision by publishers. Uncharted 4 could be 1080/60 FPS, anygame could. There's nothing to indicate that in 2019, PS5 would change and try and sell 60FPS over 2k or 4k. Most likely games would be 30FPS with highe...
I think they should. I haven't played my PS4 since I upgraded my gaming PC aside to try the Division demo. Probably won't get another PS4 game until Uncharted 4.
Played Division on PC after and there's no way I could buy it on PS4. You never notice how much worse it looks until you see 60FPS and higher settings. I forgot how blurry 30 FPS is, although you do adjust to it after a while.
If every xbox game is on W10 and has cross-buy/play, I would c...
I have a PS4 and PC. But I only upgraded my GPU after getting my PS4. Haven't played my PS4 since. I will when Uncharted 4 comes out but it's very hard looking at 30 FPS.
