So Nathan Drake and Joel Baker have another brother they don't know about.
I don't see how it's a revolutionary shooter like how Halo and COD4 were.
Looks very cool but I don't know if it will change the genre, it can't really as it's not innovative enough. Destiny and Division could be revolutionary.
If sony is smart they'll turn psn plus into the Netflix of games and use their movie/TV foundation to become the Netflix of TV and movies provided they keep selling ps4s
Beginning of the death of k/d shooters and beginning of the cooperative mmo-esque ones like The Division and Destiny.
Makes sense though, more people have fun when someone else isnt enjoying a game at their expense. People don't play games they suck at for too long.
Blue ray loading is kind of slow but my only real problem is the blue ray player controls. They're not intuitive at all, and are very limited. PS3s are way better. Although, many things about PS3 are better currently. In fact the only things on PS3 that aren't better are the graphics, multitasking, and OS speed.
Good luck watching a TV show and playing a game at the same time.
If I wanted to do that I could already with my tablet, computer or phone and netflix, etc. But I don't because I'm not sure the human brain is capable. Plus I don't want my screen size reduced, and what about sound? Just not sure how it works to be honest, it would be like trying to have two separate conversations on different topics at the same time.
The only thing I could imagine...
I think at 500 I'd take a steam machine over xone. Gives you tianfall and upgradabilty.
Can't even swap out a broken hard drive on xone.
For the people saying valve can't market it, let the gamers do the marketing via word of mouth and the hardware speak for itself.
Too often people are sold crap like kinect 1 when the best way to garner long term sales and good wil is to sell the product, not have the consumer sold. If that makes...
That's good news for both consoles; however, I'm confident that ps4 will maintain graphical superiority
Well at least you can see how much space is used AND the HD is replaceablw unlike the other system.
What an asshole. So we'll never know what happens.
The PR disaster yes, but the more expensive less power problem no.
Its already very lame that you can't upgrade the harddrive. It would be horrible if when your paltry 500 gigs filled with 50 gig games, you'd have to redownload older ones to play again.
Speaking of being stuck with under 500 gigs, I hope those hard drives don't mess up (like hard drives often do) or people will be stuck with bricks that could have been fixed for $30
I own a 360...and PS3, just a FYI that the games are free on Plus if anyone is in the same boat as me.
Those are free on PSN plus.
I totally agree, I much rather have been able to buy a full version.
I loved P vs Z but the second one seems like work to advance and I'm not paying all that money for a game that worked perfectly at 2.99
So I stopped playing it and am likely done with the series.
I have a PS4...
A couple of hundred thousand isn't a big deal IMO
Seems to be neck and neck in the US and the UK with Sony leading in the rest of the world.
I share the authors sentiments completely...
got my PS4 on November 15th, and have played it everyday since.
Although I TOTALY disagree with the list and or order, website got +++'s for not putting each game on a separate page. They put the entire list on the same page, amazing. Others should follow.
Well done gamehorizon, you are now added to my Pulse.
You need to stop buying games.
I think your one of those guys that's more excited anticipating a game with that excitement peaking with the purchase, than actually playing the game.
