Better they understand this late than never I suppose.
Not sure subscription MMO would work if you have to pay additional for the consoles online service.
People that play MMOs tend to play them and nothing else or very little else. If they already play the game enough to warrant paying a monthly fee I'd imaging they'd be loath pay another $60 to MS for essentially nothing.
I was just thinking of games being Hollywoods next focus the other day.
If Sony was smart they'd out Netflix Netflix but incorporate their music, PSN plus, and Playstation Now services into it.
They already have deep ties to music, movies, and videogames, get the tv shows and create the ultimate home entertainment service that has unlimited streaming of everything, not just TV and movies.
Be the next Netflix but better. They can do it. That would be a real revolution of home entertainment and a lot better than plugging a c...
I don't mind black bars, it will make the graphics even better and possibly be more cinematic. Wouldn't want ever game to have bars but if it suits it, why not.
That's pretty low. Maybe the franchise decreased in value a lot. I'd think at the time Gears 2 released the franchise would have been worth a lot more.
They were selling over 6 mill a game, not sure how Judgment did but that seems like a bargain. Although, the cost of each Gears game will include a portion of the cost of acquiring the franchise.
Fair is fair, can't knock you for your personal preference. I happy to agree to disagree.
I'm not going to argue that ribs are better than steak or vice versa.
Gears 1 was my favourite game for years but by the time Gears 3 came out the story turned to crap (less epic sci-fi and more b-action movie) and that new cover gameplay didn't seem so special. MP was still really fun but a lot of games have great mp. Wasn't even interest in Judgement despite lining up at midnight a few years prior for Gears 2.
The series just lost its magic for me, and was in fact extrely disappointing in the story department. I know there will be a ...
PS3 would make a lot more sense. It kinda like Nintendo in that they have a lot of exclusives.
360 has Halo and Gears but in PC there's be no online. I can't see PC gamers playing Forza considering their racing options and Fable, really?
E3 will probably have some interesting stuff.
Journey wasn't really indie but it was a GOTY contender.
Now that I think about it ps3 had so many amazing games.
Its best to have both PC and a console but personally I feel console has better games (often GOTY) that either never make their way to PC like Red Dead, TLOU, etc. or take too long like GTA5.
Most big PC exclusives don't interest me. Again though, ideally one would have both.
If you don't get a console you miss out on a lot of the best games so I don't get why PC gamers are always putting consoles down.
I'm happy it doesn't. Not every games needs it. Its better in many cases just to put the entire Dev budget into sp
why would people care about emulating 360 games when 99 percent of 360 games are on PC and would look better.
Well, I bought ps4 so who cares. Xone owners knew it was less powerful so I assume they don't care that much either. I'm happy with my purchase.
As a ps4 owner I'm kinda glad it was delayed. A lot of the next gen gamed seem a bit rushed, not all, but I'm definitely a proponent for "release when ready" instead of hit that magic holiday season mentality.
Fully customizable difficulty is what I've been asking for in games for a long time. Perfect
How could the author possibly think that Sony is announcing a PS4 Slim three months after release.
This may be the worst speculation in the history of N4G.
fool, if he had fire insurance he could have turned that 360 into an xone.
More the fool for running into a burning building to save something that costs $150.
PS3 with PSN Plus may be the greatest console every made.
