I wasn't aware teenage boys were the only ones that appreciated large breasts. I can say personally, I'm not a teenager and I definitely appreciate large breasted games characters.
Furthermore, in my opinion it's not sexist at all to have unrealistically sexy women (or flawless male physiques as is often the case as well) in a creative medium like comics or videogames.
TV and movies strive for physical perfection in the actor selection. Games a...
I really wish buying this game on one device allowed you to download it on others without paying again.
Prior to their CES reveal, I thought a revolution in PC gaming.
Post-CES I'm thinking more along the lines of yet another way to sell over priced gaming PCs.
Trailer or gameplay?
I totally agree that it's all about the optimal number of player for the map size but often (not always but most of the time) if the maps are smaller they did so to have better looking graphics, like Gears.
So the count is probably low so the graphics can attempt to impress, or not disappoint.
I didn't know gamefly was still around.
I already have BC, it's on the shelf underneath my PS4 cause I didn't sell my PS3 for that big $50 dollars.
People complaining about b/c are likely mostly former 360 gamers who trolled PS3 games last gen and now want to play them.
They reduced player count for graphics, less players allow for smaller maps. MS is behind them.
Had to disagree Hatsune but that was funny.
I'm saying they're not art, they're share similarities but combined with technology they are something different.
Using your example, it would be like a genetically modified fruit to contain both apple and meat protein. Although part fruit it certainly would be something more than just fruit. It would require it's own food category. So, I'm really not saying what your example states at all.
Videogames are various art forms combined with ...
Leave it to an artist's arrogance to imply or say (as in many cases)all art is superior to all non-art.
Maybe I'm closed-minded but I don't see any moves, TV, videogames, music or books as art per se. I see art as art, to risk being tautological. Certainly they all fall into the "Arts" category but so does philosophy and dance. Videogames could be defined as being interactive arts but even than reduces their unique value.
It devalues v...
Really, it's hard to beat $100 less and 20%-50% more power. Basically your games are always just a bit better in a visible way and you paid less money. Netflix is actually quite a bit better on PS4 too. The xone one is kinda muddled.
Even at the same price, if your primary concern is playing games and watching netflix, which is 90% of console use then PS4 seems more enticing. Kinect bells and whistles aside.
Both can vastly improve however.
I subscribed to live since since xbox 1...the first xbox released not the xone to be clear..err, anyways, Live went down 1 or 2 times a year always.
In terms of down time, I'd say it similar to PSN. In fact in terms of everything, except previewing Movies and TV, I say there's no real difference between the two in terms of lag, downtime, quality, etc.
Xbox does have much higher quality previews for TV and Movies though, Live is HD PSN is SD at best....
For most story driven SP games just a tiny bit of latency won't be an issue. For competitive MP it would be.
I wouldn't care if I could access any game I purchased on anywhere.
I'd just love Far Cry 3 on PS4.
I loved that game on 360 but it was obvious that graphically, it was too much for the system.
Optimization does wonders. Albeit, small wonders.
Even though I bought a PS4 instead of xone and won't be able to play the game, even I recognize there's not some 1-1 correlation between player count and multiplayer fun factor.
It's about the optimal balance, it's just as easy to be to many and there is to be too few.
It completely depends on the gameplay and map design. Gears would be terrible with 36 players and BF wouldn't be as fun with 12.
Most games however, are b...
I totally agree.
I still enjoy competitive MP but I can only play it for about an hour a day before getting bored. I can play SP all day if it's good, which is increasingly rare in the FPS games.
Think how many great FPS games we could have had if more devs this gen gained their inspiration from HL2 instead of COD4.
It's very little like Halo, it's not even in the same sub-genre as Halo.
I passed both Dead Space 1 and 2 and played 3. The series got worse and less scary with each iteration.
I couldn't even bring myself to pass Dead Space 3, it was too boring.
