As a PS4 owner, there's only one reason that matters to me - it's 4 months old!
The rest of the reasons are lacking imo.
So it's not another 3rd party exclusive, good.
I know it's a minority opinion but I'd prefer 60fps and 720p over 30fps and 1080p any day.
Strangely, I find the smoothness makes the game clearer in motion.
My only problem with Xone is the price for the power and that you can't upgrade the hard drive. That's a long time to go without you HD crashing or filling up.

I agree fully, game audio (and music) is vital to a immersion. Audio is the only thing that can be on par with reality, when done right it really adds to the experience.
Before people say it's because it's an American company just look at how popular iphone is in Japan.

PS3 with PSN Plus may be the best place to game right now. A lot of cheap/free great games.

If that came with Mario I'd get it. I feel the Wii U is worth is at 200 with a game but not more.
It's was probably a good short term decision as they gained a big payout but in the long term they ruined any chance of it being close to a COD killer and greatly diminished the potential value of the brand by neglecting and probably pissing off more than half of console gamers.

Well at least it's clear that the majority of gamers aren't brand loyal, or at least not brand loyal for long. That's refreshing.
PS4 is starting to sell more in the US alone than Xone sells in the entire world.
