Illusive_man you are the problem with fanboys, you let companies walk all over you and defend it.
Have fun constantly transferring games installs back and forth.
In Canada, people who waited now have to pay $50 more.
Hope the online is good with a large variety of game modes and stats, etc.
$400,000,000 of their exclusive budget spent on NFL TV content.
Less talky more showy.
He should look at his PS4 and order a redesign for xone with an upgradable standard harddrive.
PS4 has a much better variety of games over xone already.
I think the most important questions for this game having massive appeal pertain to the depth and variety of the online modes. Mario Kart is the perfect game to have mass online appeal. I hope Nintendo has focused on game modes, customization, connection quality, chat, etc.
A lot of people love mario kart, the core (which is averaging in the 30s now) won't have their friends over to play too often so online is key for this game and Wii U approaching mass appeal.
All I care about is a deep and elaborate onine mode with a vast variety of game modes.
If Nintendo does things right they could have a real winner on their hands.
I wonder how much of game dev costs come down to studio management.
Why do some games that offer very little in terms of graphics, sound, quality, story, etc. cost 80 mill to make but smaller studio's can make games like the Witcher super long, with big maps, deep gameplay and story, and amazing graphics.
and give free DLC. Where does all the money go in some games?
As a 360/PS3 owner I much prefer trophies because each trophy has an identifiable value and degree (often of challenge) whereas achievements points get lost in the aggregate score.
When you look at your achievements score you can't tell whether you got a lot of valuable achievement like 100 points or a bunch of 20s. When I look at my trophy summary I can see how rare a gold trophy is or platinum trophy is, etc.
I like that trophies exist but I'm not willing to do anything boring to get a trophy so I never platinum a game....I platinum'd Infamous in a week (was off from work).
I don't know why but I couldn't stop playing, the gameplay is amazing. It's weird cause nothing else was particularly great about it but I just couldn't put it down. If they add to the story, character development and side missions it can be a 9.5+/10 game imo.
Gamepla...
Man, if this guy was running things 5 years ago xbox would still be on top.
They need to be cheaper than retail to account for the lost trade-in value.
And, as a Canadian, there's no way I could justify downloading 30plus gig PS4/xone games, I'd incur extra bandwidth charges every month. I tend to buy a lot of games.
Less talky more showy.
I followed that MS carrot like a dumb donkey all last gen, not doing it again this gen.
Proof or it doesn't exist is my motto when it comes to PR from now on.
Agreed part of MGS' charm is that it's a perfect mess.
Wii U sells worse than ps3 and is losing Nintendo a lot of money.
Nintendo banked on the casuals again problem is they moved to 99 cent and free to play phone/tablet games.
Half of old Wii owners don't even know Wii U is any different. And Nintendo was right, casuals don't care about graphics so why would they upgrade.
If they have a deep and elaborate online mode, this game could revitalize Wii U.
Well MS can just use the cloud, make 360 4x more powerful and get it running at 60 FPS in a couple months /s
Wii Us is not going to make it if Nintendo doesn't embrace online gaming.
People rarely have their friends over to play anymore.
