Planescape torment should be remade.Just give it a graphics overhaul,it will kick arse of every rpg.
Yes! exactly.Dedicated gpu is a must.Llano and Bulldozer are great APUs but their onboard gpu is only entry class and medium range i.e. Amd 64xx,65xx,66xx etc.Besides enthusiast gamers will always go for high end gpus like 68xx and 69xx.But these two series are very good for 30fps
and entry level gaming and destroys Intel in every way possible in terms of graphics prowess.
Paid dlc culture is becoming cancer and bioware is seemingly a major reason behind it.We need expansions, not some stupid mission add-ons.
Great game....I played some 4 or 5 hours and if they can keep the momentum going,it's going to be a masterpiece like the original one.
The ending seems so bcoz witcher's story is a fairly big one.The first witcher game circled around a short story while the second one just touches the surface of some stories.Still the game is epic.I wonder what will the game become when they touch the core elements of witcher's world like Ciri,Yennefer,The Wild Hunt,Nilfgaard,Oxenfurt etc.
Lately all games seem so.As some kiddies have got into games that are not meant for them and become crybabies on forums if they are killed once in the game. And the result games are now movies with a bit more button presses.
Activision-Blizzard is an enigma to me.The first one is the pioneer of milking,dlc-ing,price hiking and all things bad.The second part is exact opposite.
As for sqaure enix, they surely are not as mighty as they were in Square soft era but they got some a great lineup of both eastern and western games after the acquisition of Eidos.I think they will deliver great product very soon.
Spot on,man! Adding rpg elements will turn this game from good to great.
You can say the same thing about Inception. The concept was used well before the movie was made in a video game in 2006.The game was Dreamfall.
Nice review. The first paragraph portrays the true Obsidian.
10 games save almost 100bucks.Hardcore gamers buy 30-35 games a year which sums up to 300-350bucks savings per year.In a typical console generation of 4 years you end up spending 1200bucks more than pc gamers.Who says pc gaming is expensive?
Witcher 2 is my favourite so far.Best story, best graphics, best music, best characters, best replay value-all is there. No other game in the list boasts that.Portal 2 and Shogun 2 is my joint second.Crysis 2 was good but a letdown compared to crysis 1.Dirt 3 should have been there for its great visuals and perfect gameplay and adrenaline factor.
I think its a smart move from the small dev. They are getting good publicity which most small devs don't get.
Challenging gameplay that requires some skills to master unlike today's games thats just a walk in the park.
Agreed!Stealth is one of the few genres that tests you and hack 'n slash is one of the most satisfying(if not the most satisfying) genre. Some retard wrote this to get hits and apparently he succeeded.
Within one year 3 nfs...Come on ea!Give us a full game like most wanted or underground not half-baked games.Running and gunning would have
good but running only is surely gonna irritate.
Witcher 2 definitely GOTY this far.But it has got hard competition in hand with Deus ex and Skyrim. Its great time for being an rpg player.
Another rpg of epic proportions. Its stealth and hacking is awesome and very rewarding.Wasting time has its own penalties.
Lately too many sequels and prequels.Games or any media should not be more than a trilogy unless its exceptional.Game industry has become stagnant in terms of innovation and creativity this gen.
I think there is something going on with so many talks about this game lately.
Make planescape 2,torment 2 or just re-release the game with graphics overhaul-its second 1 buy from me...because that's the big daddy of all
rpgs.
