Those who are regular rpg players(not the ones who just like point and pull the trigger type games),this is a gem with some minor flaws like nwn2.Reviewers like Sterling and co. gives any shooter 7 at an average but innovations like AP gets two.AP will be regarded as one of the most underrated games of all time without the hint of the shadow of the doubt.
Pet Mole is blabbering to sell his game-so typical.Btw fable 2 was rubbish coz it was not on pc.
The game is much better than this.I played twice and going through my third.Let obsidian develop the next one also.Same happened to NWN2 which had bugs at every steps but after 1year of patching the game got playable and then obsidian came with their masterpiece The Mask of the Betrayer.If only it was a standalone game,it could have been a blockbluster.
Atleast piracy saved us from Outrageous pricing.In my country a game costs around 4200bucks while our prime minister gets 30000bucks a month.With that much money at stake its super risky to buy a game without knowing whether its worth it as 90% of games are crap and you can't rely on reviewers bcoz of guyz like Sterling.Lower the price(coz not every game costs as much as GTAIV),there will be no pirates.
I would love to play for the most fierce army of all time,the Nazis who killed 3 allied soldiers in the expense of 1.A fight to death to save Hitler is mouthwatering.

Shooters are not bad if there are variety.But now look at the scenario cod4,5,6 together can be a single game.The devs are feeding 3 game with 18hour offline value for 180bucks.Only visuals are getting better-no innovation,no motive-just shoot n kill.If they are not iterative even 10 shooter a month is okay for me.But mostly we are getting huge quantity of craps with little quality and post release support.
No doubt about that.Bioware introduces new mechanics in games and others just copy paste that.And they have never failed to deliver.Other developers live on neverending franchise sequels but Bioware lives on new ips.

The game is one of the most underrated games ever.The NPC interaction does AFFECT your game(not in the end only).The dialogue system is awesome(much better than ME2).Only graphics is holding this game.Its the Real RPG,not a dumbed down glossy TPS.
Has any1 played dreamfall:the longest journey?It has the best score by a long margin.The five mentioned above does not stand a chance.They're here bcoz most people played them.Just search for dreamfall theme song and judge yourself.
ME3!So soon...Hope it features the fighting mechanics of ME2 and customization of ME1.Hoping for a better mining mechanics.

I dunno why reviewers are giving low scores for small bugs.Currently, i'm playing the game.
Gameplay is awesome.Loving the stealth action,hacking and lockpicking.There are some glitches and bugs but none is gamebreaking.A patch like nwn2 can make this game a certain 8.5 game.

Bioware is no 1.Baldur's gate,KOTOR,NWN,Mass effect,Dragon
age-their catalogue justifies it.

Finally, AP is getting some respect it deserves.I would definitely go for AP2 or any expansion packs if they ever comes.Innovation is hated by reviewers in this gen.
