Older games was tougher and every boss battle was something epic.Defeating a boss meant something.Now boss battles are just an afterthought.I kinda remember Lufia 2,maybe, where you have to reach a tower top which has something like 20 odd floors.If if fail once,you're back to ground floor.

Completely agree bro.Obsidian is much like a contractor developer.They work for almost all publishers and within a small timeframe,they deliver a 80 game which always has something new about it.KOTOR 2 was certainly better than KoTOR but lucas arts ruined it.Fallout 3 was barely a daddy seeking extravaganza whereas New Vegas added depth,complexity and real choices in the story.Alpha Protocol got undoubtedly the best dialogue system and consequence in any game.

Just finished one playthrough.Amazing game.The act 2 was so superb.In my country its 6 am now and i've played it from 7 p.m last night.Never a boring moment.This is the modern Baldur's gate for me.
What the gamers have become?They can't even beat a simple monster.The first boss needs just 3 yrden,a QTE sequence and a jump on a platform to finish it off.How come these become difficult.

The witcher 2 is getting lower scores than it deserves because some people just aren't liking the idea of Bioware getting beaten by a small Polish dev.I can't think of any other game that gave Bioware such a beating.With industry against it,witcher 2 still has got metarating of 90 in both critic and user score.

Witcher 2 is unfortunate to not have a big publisher behind it who can feed free copies to these reviewers.Look! Most are saying this is the best rpg in quite a while,but giving it 9 whereas DA2 scored 10s with so many cons.Beefjack is out from my book of reviewers.

Game of epic proportions.Superb story.Unforgettable locations.I loved Orzammar.Urn of sacred ashes quest was just fantastic.But DA2 just took the awesomeness away.

Demon's soul and witcher 2 are the new benchmarks of rpg.I am sure skyrim will join their ranks.Dumbing down is not the way to go.DA2 may sell well but it will never get the cult following demons soul and witcher got.And loyal followers can make you a juggernaut like Blizzard who never tries to sell half-assed game despite being a partner of money-hungry activision.
Yeah!Come on,obsidian! this time around just don't go with Sega.AP2 will be epic.This is one of the few games this gen that i have treasured and play it every now and then.Most games can't compel you to continue playing with even utmost polish,AP compels you to play it with almost no polish bcoz content really matters and it had them in loads.
That's what requirements should be.Not core 2 duos or quads.Those are cpus of three generations back.

On the topic,rpgs can be pardoned for small bugs and glitches as there are just too many variables of too many dimensions.And we the gamers usually like to do explore rather than stick to quests which leads to variable manipulation and bugs.But a linear fps has only one way to go with very few variables,it is inexcusable if an fps is buggy.

I have only one crash in my around sixteen hours play.It happened after i played it for seven hours straight.
My cousin is playing it on Core 2 duo,2gb ram and ati 4650.Still it runs smooth and the graphics looks better than most other games.Kudos to the devs for a finely optimized game.
