that is well said, just because you prefer the PS3 more doesn't mean that you are against the 360 and it's games. Me, I am the opposite of you. I play the 360 more than the PS3, but recently I've been playing Gow 3 on PS3. Trying to beat it on the impossible..
I read through most of the post and saw most of the comments were, 360 fanboys said that kz2 was this, and mgs4 was that. I don't want to have friend names pop up while I am watching t.v. What is the point of having netflix and zune 1080p? Would they not be competing against netflix? Do you know how long you would have the 360 on if you had this feature, switching from networking t.v. to games? I agree, nothing is better than having the best of both worlds. I don't think anyone should have a say in the matter negative about Xbox 360 or Ps3 unless you have both. How can you judge something you never tasted?
More ever,what did they say about Alan Wake that was so unbelievable. I didn't see any statements to back that up. Was it the gameplay, the story, or lighting?

yeah I was like 17 going on 18 when the Dreamcast came out. But you want to know why EA didn't support Sega? Because Sega had they're own sports franchise which was Visual concepts being the competition of EA at the time which turned into 2k sports. Sega had NFL 2k and 2k1 on the dreamcast.

Sony came in from they're first console, and PS1 had good games like metal gear,tobal, FF7, and Castlevania Symphony of the night. But had not the install base and first/ third party support like the Dreamcast. Whereas when the ps2 came out,again they did not have an install base like the DC. They had a web browser, Visual memory cards where you could not only save games on it, but play games on it as well. But Sega destroyed themselves,not Sony. They lost alot of money on the Sega CD, Game gear, Sega 32X. I believe 4 billion or so. When they came out with the Dreamcast,the timing was wrong and it was too late. The profits from the DC was not enough. Hence is bankruptcy.

It's just that everyone is not use to seeing Halo with "Graphical
improvements" such as these. Halo has not really been a graphical tank.
But graphics and best lighting I have seen can only take you so far, haven't seen anything much on the new things in gameplay.
With the money they have now from the other Halos,they seem to have more manpower (bigger and more talented teams) to add and come up with new and better ideas. Being the last Halo and all.
I don't know if the game engine was ever meant to run at 60fps. 30fps is probably more like it. With them using anti aliasing, dynamic lighting, more textures, (too bad it is not some mega texturing)more AI and vehicles on screen. "sub HD" seems on the horizon. Unless they take advantage of the HDD and flash drives of the 360 with some installs. Maybe 2 disc, one for single player the other for multi.

I think he says that because alot of "people" are doubting that any other game could surpass the graphics of gears 2 on the 360. Imo, Gears 2 looks better than gears 1, I believe ppl didn't like it because they moved from that dark gritty grey look and added more lighting and color.
Morever, Alan wake and Mass effect 2 shows that there is more.

I read two of your post(and others), and you gave nothing on how to improve on gears 3. I think I'll pass on this one, God Of War 3, not really. This game looks to be the same hack in slash(button smash) it was before. Waves and waves of dumb AI. Co-op always seem interesting, seems more like a rental. Did Konami always have the rights to this game?

I hear some people talking about "step up the graphics" as if gears 2 was bad looking. Might be your televisions, but we should expect Gears 3 to blow minds coming 2011. How will it compare to Crysis 2? I do not know, but it gives them something to work for.
To tell you of a truth, I hope Crysis 2 looks better than anything out there being a third party multi plat. It will drive game developers to new heights.
