I don't understand, racing fans should welcome this. Have half the people in here ever played both these great racing sims. (Yes, Forza is also a racing sim.)

I will go with older gamers, because older gamers have lived and most know the rights and wrongs of life.Most older gamers play the game right, which makes it enjoyable. Younger gamers tend to "learn the curve" camping or cheating to win in games, then mouth off after a cheating victory(which are dominate in games today). But younger gamers tend to learn the game faster. However, I am 29 and I have put younger gamers in they're place many times.

Both versions have faults, the 360 version has screen tearing( Though I didn't see any but at clip one). PS3 has lower frames as we have seen, but only once did it dip to 19fps:{.
The highest frame for the 360 was 48fps in clip four I believe. Also, if you play the 360 at 1080p on a big screen, this will produce more screen tearing. Keep it a 720p, and install the game for best performance.

To say that this game (Xbox 360 version) is the best looking game on consoles is a big statement. Though the PS3 version has better textures, it is hindered with a lower res making it blurry, while the 360 version has lesser textures but more resolution giving the game an overall better look. @ adonchris, even though it says 1080p on the back of the game case does not mean it is 1080p. 360 upscales well, but it is not true 1080p. Most games aren't even 720p.Blu-ray and the Zune marketplace, that is 1080p. On another note, these two different versions are just demos and not the final game. Odd thing is, the water does not look like that on the 360 version.
But what is shown here, the ps3 version has more detail and better shadows. But the resolution has to be sacrificed...
I don't know why people are obsessed with comparing, makes no since. However, the ps3 still looks good. Epic is just predicting what the next gen console graphics would look like running on UE3, not 4. More likely this is probably a new ip for the next xbox.

If you have a good HDTV, you won't notice the low res so many people are complaining about. I also disagree with the saying that the 360 version is slowing down the PS3 version.

Be that it may, did anyone see the most rescent single player video? It looks pretty good, and hard to avoid. Thou some people talking about the sub HD thing. If you have a good tv, what's the problem? With good HDTVs you can hardly notice it.

Killzone 2 still looks good, but you can notice a difference in the visuals. KZ3 has a crisper look, whereas KZ2 is more blurry. Makes the textures of the gun look slight "muddy" in comparison.( as someone above me stated)
Eventhough KZ3 as only 3X more polygons, the cripser look makes it seem like more.
KZ3 has a more vibrant colour scheme, where KZ2 looks somewhat old fashion, gritty. If you have more colour, the lighting seems better. Now being crisper...
My impressions? The graphics and lighting are supurb,the colour is welcomed in this game. I like the fact that you get you're kills.
The aim is a bit off like the gun is too heavy, but that is probably because I didn't adjust the sensativity controls. Or could be I have to put the tv on gamemode.

That being "harder" to developing multiplat games on PS3 is somewhat mute. Most third party game devs will make a game on 360 first because of it's Pc like achitexture having 3 general purpose cpus. Having 512mb of ram, 10mb edram to help with aliasing.Whereas most devs are familiar to developing for PC anyway, making the developing time faster and getting things done more quickly.

It could mean that the PS3 version has surpassed the 360 version, and won't show it until the game is ready to launch.
As I recall, crytek was making alot of noise about having the best looking FPS on consoles.But what I saw on the multiplayer of KZ3, it seems slim. Guess we will have to wait.
