Guess I will enjoy the one day on the psn before it is offline, again... But I would have to say, me and my friend were ok playing mortal kombat under the same roof. So I will survive.
I don't know why Microsoft put this on their platform. You are paying for Hulu + with advertisement. Some shows are not available on the console version, so you would have to watch those shows on PC only. (even though you are paying to watch it on consoles).
The same shows they have, Netflix has+ movies. Hulu has TV movies. If you have netflix, then I really don't recommend this. Right now, Hulu is meant for PC.

I can't really say they did an "amazing job". When they shut down the psn, did they not deny that it was intrusion of hackers? Then last week they said that they were going to have it up by wensday.
They left people in the dark because they thought they could cover it up, fixing the problem before anybody really knew what happened. If your personal information is at risk, then that company were to notify you asap.

Yes it is, April 25th. @ InTheKnow, I think the previewer(because I don't know who wrote the article) never mentioned the shipping date of the game because as you said, It's one of the biggest stories surrounding gears. I can see why he is upset. Other website journalist seem to be taking some of his "truth" articles and making it they're own. From what he is saying, seems to have news waaayyy before everyone else. Then other websites put up the news weeks later, getting all the credit.

I require the beta because, their were many problems with Gears 1 & 2, glitches, lag, off hit detection, ect. This was the main game (to me) that annoyed me, yet kept coming back for more.

It does seem over kill now, but 5 to 10 years down the line with the next gen consoles, it won't seem too far fetch. Also, by then it would come cheap perhaps $10 to $15 per DDR3 ram. But I still say like so many others, 4GBs is enough.
Think of how much more realistic textures they could make with it, real time lighting. Maybe you want more realistic skin. All these things require memory. Even so, we know that one of them(Microsoft) took heed to epic about memory bandwid...

Glad this is DLC, I know the story is before SF3 (I think) but I wish they had more SF3 characters. Hugo, Alex, Oro, and Urien would've been a nice addition as well.
