To be honest I'll take framrate over graphics any day. It adds an overall better experience. Play call of duty ops 2, then play halo 4, killzone 3. Feels slow doesn't it, Forza 4 then play Horizon. I have to play horizon on motion plus to have the elision that its playing at 60 fps.
They should give you an option like the first Bioshock to either make a game run at 30fps or 60fps.

I would've picked Halo4/COD/Assansins Creed multiplayer over borderlands because of the fact that Borderlands only has co- op. Halo 4 has true 4 player co-op campaign and multiplayer, COD has co- op throught zombie mode and multiplayer. Borderlands has true co-op campaign but multiplayer modes?

Seems to be the reason why Nintendo is having to use this way of architexture. Having a weak CPU but having a strong GPU. Does this mean Sony will have a weak CPU as well, I mean what is the point of using GPGPU if you have a powerful CPU? Because it results in better all a round performance, stronger the CPU/GPGPU is the better games will be. Sadly, the WiiU will have to rely heavily on this just to help out the CPU.
Just make an HD remake, Hire some good artist, with remixed soundtrack and make it 4 players. We deserve that for mania difficulty:)

As many say, I see it as 15to 25 gbs on consoles. Anybody can max out a new piece of hardware quickly if your just cram it with a bunch of crappy coding, but game devs do this to see what they have to work with. Example: You want Halo 5 to run at 60fps and run at 1080p. You have HIgh Rez textures, Advanced AI, motion capture programs, ect. But you see that the system is at it's max. So something has got to give. You either take it lower to 720p, or cut the framrate in half to 30fps, or take away some of those textures.

I don't see Sony launching the PS4 last. Due to that delay back in 2005, 2006 Microsoft has gained quite a bit of the market share . Putting Sony in last place, Sony will not let that happened again. It makes since in the business world. Release it early and possibly get some of those shares back.
I think it's better this way. Developers who have 360 lead will most likely have problems trying to put it on the ps3. They should lead it on the PS3, max it out( if the 360 can handle it) have 2 disc for the 360 version one for install. I think this way both platforms will be the same quality. But gta4 was the same on both wasn't it?

The reason they "milk it" is because it makes them a lot of money. It's obvious with the sales it gets, consumers don't want it to just vanish away. When the sales deminish, so will the franchise. Until then, I will enjoy Halo in my cereal:)

I don't know about that, just think of how convenient it would be. Controller runs out of batteries, you use the phone, ipad, tablet to browse through and type or text. And did anyone say free app?
Do people realize with devs ( mostly crytek)and other websites saying next gen systems need 16GBs of ram to be relevant is just to get Sony and Microsoft to say, well were not able to do 16GBs of ram but we can do 8GBs. Devs know that they won't have that amount of ram in consoles. It's kind of a smart strategic bluff. Game devs want to work with something truly next gen, because last gen 512mb of ram was so limited.
