If my calculations are right(and they are) Sony as a whole saw a 72% drop in profits, but the games division did see a 10% increase in REVENUE. I strongly emphasize REVENUE there as it isn't the same as profit.

MGO's problems are because of the PSN, because of the PSN's Nonuniform structure. What Konami did wouldn't be allowed on LIVE, because of its uniform structure. Its Consistent(LIVE) vs. Inconsistant(PSN)
There is NO such thing as a "FREE LUNCH". You always end up paying for it, one way or the other. PSN users have had to deal with online problems with Warhawk, MGO is awful and still broke, COD4, HAZE, GTA IV, Socom is embarrasingly bad and now we have LBP. Oh and we might as well pencil in Resistance 2 for next week while we are at it.

I felt regret the second I bought it, but I ignored my thoughts. Luckily I got good ole Wally World to take it back opened for a full refund even though I didn't even buy it there. Only thing is it was refunded in credit on a gift card. Turned right around and got LBP and Fable II. Socom just isn't Socom anymore, which is sad.

It is a multiplatform game, so the PS3 version is inferior, but nothing like the Orange Box debacle. Its the power of the cell, you know?

Just another multiplatform game superior on the 360. As a recovering PS Fanboy I NEVER dreamed I would be buying only the Sony 1st party games for my PS3. MS listening and staying very close to developers during the 360's design phase is paying off tremendously. Meanwhile, Sony was shifting their focus from gaming to Blu Ray and their Cell Processor agenda which only seems to be helping their competition.(Marketshare change from last generation)

The 360 faced insurmountable(sp?) odds in Japan. Here the cries of many a PS3 fanboy whining about a one year headstart when Sony had how many years of a headstart in the console business. Sony had many years to build a loyal fanbase and they did just that. When you take all that into consideration, MS shouldn't even be close to PS3's marketshare.
