Gears of War 2 delievered an epic campaign that delivered every which way, and I think thats why Resistance 2 feels so meh to me.

Those who do not think LittleBigPlanet is the second coming could face slapping, pinching or pulling hair from the Sony loyalists. To say Gears 2 has blown me away is a huge understatement. The graphics are truly amazing, and easily the best I have seen for ANY console game.

The game is absolutely gorgeous. After playing the Nuts & Bolts demo I immediately fired up Ratchet and Clank, because I remembered how beautifully vibrant I thought that game was when I bought it a while back.

Well I got my hands on a copy of Gears of War 2 today through a friend that does reviews for a Mizzou student publication. Played through the first Act and it truly left me amazed. The updated Unreal Engine is absolutely gorgeous, but it is the "stop and pop" gameplay that has been tweaked ever so slightly that really makes this one of the most enjoyable games of all time. It is almost here.
