I agree mostly with your post but disagree in other aspects. I was never into the whole achievements thing, and so far trophies isn't too different.
However it is only an option if you want to participate in it. It's not like you MUST unlock achievements or trophies to continue the game or anything.
But you also have to look at it in a different way. Sometimes gamers will buy 1 game per month, or even 1 game every 3-6 months. And that's the only game they'll play for...

You obviously don't even know how the trophies system really works. It's ok, stay ignorant and stick with your achievements. Nobody really cares if you had a billion points for your gamerscore anyway.

That'd be true if they were creating it retrospectively. But when they are developing the game from scratch multiplatform. They make the achievements for the xbox360 version. How much harder or more time would it take just to implement it to the trophies system?

You'll find my commets pretty negative about the game. But man, seriously. Be honest, the graphics could be way better than this. With the PS3/360, it's supposed to be the end of shooting weird looking character models.

I disagree. Warhawk looks miles better than this. Warhawk is at least 1280x720 with 4xAA. And doesn't have the vaseline looking textures.

For the last time, they are not IN-ENGINE CUTSCENES!!!!!!!!!!!!!! they are pre-recorded videos, most likely the same on both systems. Heck, those could just be a video of a high end PC in-engine cutscene for all we know.
