Yes I enjoy 1 disc games. And the PS3 version will still be the definitive version to buy.
But it still doesn't change the fact that it's going to be gimped down for the 360 version.

Seriously, it doesn't matter if the game is 100 discs on the 360. It's still going to it. It's still a huge blow for Sony. It's still betrayal considering ever since the game was announced they touted it was a "PS3 exclusive."

They bought more than that, they bought something far beyond what anybody could have imagined.
They have to downgrade a potential 50gb game to 9gb if they want the 360 to be on one disc. Then they have to factor in that the 360 has no standard harddrive. Then they have to degrade the quality of the cutscenes. Then of course the PS3's hardware is vastly different from the 360's hardware, so they have to redesign a lot of things on the PS3 side to accomodate the 360.
And not to mention most people who has a PS3, probably had a PS1 and PS2. In which also spent hundreds of do...

It's just like FFXIII. People, and myself included. Believed that it was an actual exclusive. And we know how that went.

It's not that it's multiplatform that pisses people off. It's just the sheer fact that they've been saying "Only for Playstation 3" at the end of every trailer until today. They've basically flat out lied to the consumers and the big big Final Fantasy/Playstation fanbase.
Sony isn't smoking anything. He'll, the way things are going this generation. I wouldn't be surprised if Microsoft paid Sony $10 billion to lose this generation.
