The Titan IS the most powerful single GPU in the world. The GTX 690 is basically GTX680SLI.

"what they always tell me is that once a programmer learns a language most of them are very reluctant about learning a new one."

Because once you get pass basic command lines and scripts, it's mother F'in hard! So of course they aren't going to throw away everything they learned in 4-6 years of College and 5-10 years of coding experience.

People don't realize that. Guys like black1911 has no clue about what development really is. Th...

And that's how it should be.

I'm tired of the fact that the only thing that taxes my GTX 680 are a hand full of titles every year. The rest are console ports, MMOs, and shitty indie games I honestly don't care about.

So it does boil down to the games. And no matter how you slice it, there are games that consoles provide that the PC won't.

If I wasn't such a PC hardware enthusiast, I'd probably quit PC gaming. Can't...

Well that's the thing, EA is probably more hated because they actually do have some good properties that people like. It's just their business decisions ruin the properties and in turn the passionate people backlash over it.

Strange company.

I've pretty much given up on it already.

Glad to know someone knows something about PC's here. The FX6300 is the best value processor on the market IMO. Decent gaming performance and decent desktop performance only for ~$135

I'm gonna laugh if it's nothing but what was already thought to be Metal Gear Solid V

Absolutely agree. People would rather pay lower prices than to pay more for features they probably won't use. I'd rather pay $400 for a PS4 vs $600 for a PS4 with B/C. That's just not very good budgeting.

4731d ago 4 agree0 disagreeView comment

You would, but a majority of gamers won't. From a business perspective, it would make more sense to sell millions more units than to please a few hundred gamers. That's the sad truth and reality of the matter.

My personal opinion, is that while it is great to have B/C, it's more of a luxury feature meaning it's not necessary to me. If I still wanted to play PS3 games, I'll keep my PS3. I did the same thing with the PS2. I figured I would keep my PS2 games,...

It has the same CPU, but that doesn't mean it's the same PCB or design. Sony will have their touches and obviously they shared a bit on that seeing as how they are able to fit GDDR5 even though that CPU was never meant for GDDR5.

And rumored had the PS4 at 1.86Gflops while the NextBox is rumored to have 1.24Gflops. That's why people are saying the PS4 is better.

Although the biggest question is what GPUs are going to be in either.

4732d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

Nvidia is just sour about it. They have basically no stake in the PS4/NextBox/Wii U so they'll say anything they can.

With that said, the CPU is obviously "low-end" in the computer world, but who cares? It's not going to be used to do Video Editing or server work or anything like that.

^Oh well I suppose, I never really was into the series anyway. The only Tomb Raider I vaguely remember playing is the one on PS1 lol.

But don't get me wrong, like I said the game is really good and there is a lot to like. It's just I didn't like the extreme violence in my adventure games.

I'm sure if Nathan Drake fell down a pit and got sliced up into bits or goes around and stabs arrows in peoples eyes I'd be turned off too.

I've been playing it on PC and it's good, but nowhere near as enjoyable as Uncharted for me. Uncharted has that witty charm and the story is just better presented. That and the game play complements how the story progresses.

And I'm really turned off by the extreme unnecessary almost God of War levels of violence in this Tomb Raider game. I mean... really? Did they really have to make Lara die in those ways? It's just a little out of place IMO.

Personally the way I see it, is that we'll finally be able to play "console" type games with the higher quality it deserves.

Well hopefully this will get Reggie to shut up and stop acting like his sh*t don't stink.

Tablets definitely killed the last console generation. Those poor poor sales. 250 million Wii/360/PS3 consoles sold.

No matter how much you try to spin it though, it's really doing poorly for a new console. It's nowhere near as successful as the Wii, and it's sad to see. The same goes for the Vita.

4735d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

Yes it's bad. Not that it sold 80,000, but that it still doesn't offer any compelling software and that Nintendo isn't advertising it.
