there comes a point when Nintendo has to step away from the gimmicks and focus on at least matching the basic functions of the other consoles. Things such as having no DVD player are just ridiculous if you ask me.

Idk, I see certain games such as Mario Kart, and possibly pokemon having decent online systems, and then the major FPS games will be fine on the Wii U. it's the other games from nintendo and third parties that i see suffering from this decision.

If this is true, the rumored PS3 price cut is going to have consumers going insane in the US. Still selling strong at the highest price. Once the price is even I think the PS3 will really take off.
This might be a day one download for the Vita when it releases. One of my favorite games ever. I've played it several times and it never gets old. Love it.
Yep, I think sony already came out and said that was the market they were targeting more than anyone else. The hardcore gamer comes first and foremost, followed by that same hardcore gamer spreading the word to more casuals.
This is terrible. Undoubtedly hackers will win the bid as they seem able to get donations for pretty much anything these days. This is the last thing the 3DS needed to be honest. I hope this gets taken down before they can get their hands on it. Piracy is no good, no matter what console it's on.
I currently have a GO so I have every reason to sell it once were closer to Vita's launch. I still play it regularly, mostly for PS1 games, but now isn't the time to sell. In fct I dot think I'll ever sell it. Now that these things are no longer being made I may want to keep it just for the sake of my collection.
Yeah, I figured the 3DS would at least stay on top for a month or so, but the PSP is so damn strong over there its insane. Especially when you consider that the Vita is only months away.

I really enjoyed black and white but I agree with your comment. Pokemon Yellow, Blue and Red were much more difficult than the games today. Maybe it's because I was a lot younger, but I don't think thats the reason. There were a lot more trainer battles in those games. In order to beat the Elite Four and Gary you had to have your team AT LEAST in the mid-high 60's. Now it's possible with a group of pokemon with levels between 40-50.
