How does this confirm playing retail 360 games on the PC? Xbox Live on windows phones is not the same as on the console. While I'm sure the PC is quite capable of playing any 360 game but this is not confirmation at all.
I for one hope that it's true though. If so I'll definitely go grab a wired 360 controller and use my PC to play some of the games I missed out on that I've wanted to play such as Alan Wake, Blue Dragon, etc.

I'd vote final fantasy IX. It's right there with X as my favorite final fantasy game. The characters, the world, the story and just everything in that world is so fantastic. The game is just absolutely timeless and anyone who hasn't played it should.
Not to knock chrono though. It's a good game, I just didn't quite like it as much as final fantasy IX.
Well it seems like Sony has another PS2 on thier hands if you ask me. They've got pretty much all the third party devs on board just like they did back then. Throw in the fact that they've aquired a ton of first party studios since then and this system will have games, and that's what sells hardware.

Interesting article, but I don't think the portion about sales was very thought out. So much more goes into selling a game then just quality. Take a look at Alan Wake. Honestly, if there was a game on 360 that I would want on the PS3 its that one, but the game sold like shit. Does that make it a bad game? No not at all.

Solid numbers all around this week. Really interested in seeing if the PS3 gets that pricecut next month. If so I'll be picking up a second one. I'm also surprised the psp is beating the 3DS in Europe. I thought that was Japan only.
the way you talk eyeamnumber1 seems as if you are hinting that Nintendo has always been doubted and has always triumphed. This is NOT the case. Nintendo 64 and GameCube say hello. Both were amazing systems that didn't 'win' their generation. Nintendo still needs to be on their game just like the other console makers.
