Nintendo comes with hardware that is doing what others have already been doing and now they're the breaking new ground? I think not. Sony has been doing remote play. Tablets are nothing new, and even streaming gaming is nothing new. I'd like to know what is new with this thing? Even the dreamcast had a screen, albeit a small one, but it had a screen nonetheless on the controller.
The only new things I see here are the ways you send content from the tablet to the tv (...
Sounds like damage control to be honest.
Too many features? Really? I would say something more along the lines of, 'it offers the best of both worlds.' Casual gamers can jump into a game such as uncharted with the touch controls. Core gamers can stick to the normal controls. Then you have the games like Little Big Planet, ModNation and Little Deviants which will offer experiences for both core and casual gamers by bringing all of the touch features, tilt and the usual...
Great Alternative for using the social services on the go. I Might just do this. Depends on pricing for miFi I can find. Gonna shop around.
WiFi only preordered. I may switch to the 3G version if we have the option of not needing to buy the 3G plan right away. I may want to do 3G down the line but probably not right out the gate. If that is an option I'll be getting the 3G version, otherwise I'm good with the WiFi.
Got Mobile Hotspot anyways so its all good. XD
You went to K-Mart, Toys R US, and GameStop looking for a 3DS but when you finally found one you didn't buy it?
Why go to all those stores looking for something if you're not planning on picking it up yet?
I don't go around looking for things I already own or don't plan on buying but I haven't heard much of anything about the 3DS being sold out. I bought mine a month after launch and there were more than enough of them in stock in both co...
Perhaps not using true analog sticks made it slightly cheaper? Same with the triggers? Idk, just speculating. and since they used the same parts for the 3DS they don't have to worry about pruduction.
the controller is almost as big as the console -_-
I'm hoping for the same thing. A good JRPG or hell, just an RPG in general to kick off the Vita's life...see what I did there...
I'm also excited for games like Uncharted and ModNation though.
I probably won't be buying the Wii U as I dumped by Wii a long time ago, but I'm not too worried about Nintendo. They really just need to explain a lot more about the console rather than just the controller. They left everyone with a lot more questions than answers.
Showing off a tablet controller and then coming out and saying 'the console won't be cheap' is not the way to keep investors interested.
Yep, got 200 towards mine. Gonna put the final 50 down sometime this week and be waiting for the holiday or next year. Whenever the US gets a release
edit; the trolls got you with disagrees too KingDustero LOL
same here zealous. Gonna grab a couple of 64GB cards to match my 120GB PS3.
Yeah, the guy/ with the Wii U controller is going to have a pretty big advantage too. Dual Sticks versus a Wii controller and nunchuck? Not fair in the least.
I know, but I read the title and was hoping for more images of the console lol.
still only one image of the console. I wanna know more about the console, not just the controller.
I hope so because if it does I'll be importing one and then buying a second one when they release over here.
Legaia: Dual Saga

man, so many great series the PS2 had that I remember playing. Some of them I never got to finish so I would love the chance to go back and play them on the Vita. Release them through PSN the same...
It's just as expensive as the 3DS, but the value is there. Much more tech in the Vita than in the 3DS. I own a 3DS, but even I know that the 250 I paid for it was a little higher than it should have been.
I think the Vita will take off a lot more quickly in Japan than the 3DS just because theres so much more you can do with it.
3DS is rising but the boost was largely because of the Resident Evil 3DS game. Good to see them getting a boost but man the PSP is huge over there. The biggest 3DS game release by far and PSP still kept the number one spot.
It'll be interesting to see how Japan takes to the PSV
Game looks great. But to the people claiming this looks even close to the same graphical level of Uncharted: Golden Abyss, you guys are crazy.
No codes nintendo! Just an online name and the ability to go online and accept and send out friend request. We want to be able to go into a lobby and have matches set up. Not ONLY be able to play against people we know. get over the friend codes now nintendo
