Yeah, they won't see it until they try to take it out of their house and it doest even turn on. Then what? Pointless article is pointless.
Gonna see how much growth the PS3 will have this coming up season. If there's any bundles, which there will be (uncharted), then it's gonna be flying off shelves.
Yep. It would me the only substantial feature that they updated was the graphics. All the other features are pretty small in scale to be completely honest. From the web browser to the eshop. They won't mean much if they're the only upgraded added. The 3D is by far the bugest selling point.
Nintendo should have gone back to a single screen and made a 3D Gameboy.
YEah I'll be more than satisfied if we get a 16 or 32GB HDD. Honestly I wasn't expecting one at all, assuming that we'd have to buy the new memory cards.
The fact that, just like you said, the games have spaced specifically for DLC and game saves helps out a lot means that the only thing that will go on the HDD are downloaded games themselves. If they come in at 2GB or 4GB then year, 32GB would be more then enough. You need more? buy a memory stick.
So I guess that means Sony is gonna win 2 more console generations right?
Typo stealth
3DS vs. Vita
Anything that happened last gen is no longer relevant. Just look at the Wii vs PS3 situation. Sony absolutely dominated everyone with the PS2 but the Wii came in and won this gen (sales wise). Anything can happen. Don't depend too much on history.
I'm no Call of Duty fan but the COD fanboys are gonna be all over this. The fact that it isn't a port just made this a game changer for sure. A whole new COD exclusive to the Vita. Activision and Sony are going to be laughing straight to the bank.
You sound mad stealth lol
The Vita launch will be 10x the launch that the 3DS had. Even if there were 0 third party exclusives, Sony's first party games in the launch window are all looking pretty damn good.
Oh man. They've got plenty of time to get it right, but Ninty certainly doesn't need this right now. The 3DS launch was bad enough, the Wii U needs to take off like a rocket.
I truly hope it comes Stateside. This is the tales game I'm most excited about. I'll be picking up Graces of course but this is the one I really want.
Woah, that combat looks epic!
As much as I want a Vita, and trust me I want one, the 3DS will not be a failure. Maybe it won't do DS numbers but it won't fail. Nintendo is just making some unfortunate mistakes at the moment. Eventually they'll wise up.
Remember when Reggie said no 3DS Lite in a year?
I guess he wasn't lying. It won't be lite, but it'll still be superior hardware. This is ridiculous. Nintendo is making it all too clear that they rushed the hell out of this things. See how patience would have paid off nintendo?
Anyways, this doesnt make much sense to me. Without proper online multiplayer they'll still be inferior in the eyes of the FPS crowd. FPS games are all about the multip...
@fluffy
I see exactly what you're saying, but the PSP and DS have continued to sell well even in the recent boom of iOS devices. Its not like they suddenly fell of the end of the world. They've remained relevant in the mobile world, despite being vastly outdated.
@peaceful
All of those devices sell well, and its fantastic, but again these devices are aimed at the casual market. That's who they were created for primarily. Devices like the Vita are ...
How do you know the casual market makes up the majority of the handheld market? Because the iPad sells well?
71 million PSPs says yes, there is a market for it. There are people that want a core focused handheld, and even if they don't sell as much as the 3DS or iPad, hitting 70 million once again (which is very likely) would once again make them a success.
If you think about it this casual market is going to effect the 3DS a lot more than the Vita sinc...
Uncharted, Ruin, and Modnation are all must buys for me! Can't wait!
Sony already said they are still profiting from the PS3 despite the price drop.
Yes I do think the Vita would have a chance because what's the point of the controls if you're still just playing angry birds?
the iphone still wouldn't have the software.
Well maybe you should think again and actually click the link. You'll see that they're actually praising the 3DS for the fact that it's trying to shed the 'kiddie' stereotype that nintendo systems get.
If many think the Wii U is a handheld nintendo will need to clarify to the masses that it is not. Otherwise they will have some very upset casual gamers when they all tryto take their controller on the bus...
