Yep, sure will.
Starting to dig out of the hole it created? I'll admit, the launch was fumbled big time, but the PS3 climbed out of that hole a long time ago and has been cruising since then. It's doing great globally, has had an onslaught of games with many more to come before the year ends and into 2012, and is now down to 250.
The Wii is still light years ahead of the competition, sales wise, whether anyone wants to admit it or not, and no, neither Sony or Microsoft is going to c...
I see the first 500,000 3G models selling out quickly in Japan if for no other reason than the fact that they get 100 hours of 3G for free. That was a nice bonus incentive for Sony to throw in so yeah, they'll be gone pretty quick.
The first few months of sales aren't telling of what a product is going to do though. Of course it'll fly off shelves to begin with, as do most new products. Look what happened with the 3DS and the sales began to decline.
And none of them will come to the states :(
Is it gonna come in all those colors? I wouldn't mind a red one. Doesn't have quite as sleek a look as the black or white, but I like it.
I do wish the battery life was better but I'll deal. I'll mostly be playing at work (I get A LOT of downtime) and at home so charging it up won't be an issue for me. Other people might have problems though so I can see how this might upset people. That being said...
Final Fantasy X <3
They killed the launch with a game that isn't going to be released anytime soon?
These are huge features to say the least. If Vita has full remote play that the PSP lacked then things are going to heat up. Also the whole suite thing is exactly what I expected. We'll be seeing angry birds on Vita in no time. Casuals are gonna eat it up.
Also, not sure how this will effect the Wii U. It'll have to actually be used to have any effect but we'll have to wait and see how devs make use of it.
I'm not really sure. I never played it though, that much I know.
Man the Vita is a JRPG beast! I hope these titles make it to the states. This is certainly a day one buy if so. Namco just so you know, I'll buy anything that says 'Tales of' from you so give it to me!
the PSP hasn't even hit 100 (will soon in europe thanks to the remodel) but the PSP released 8 years ago. Have fun waiting for the Vita to hit 100 lol
@ Titanz
Other than Steel Diver what do any of those titles have to do with the 3DS????
If you wanna debate something from another article, how about going over to that article -_-
what was possibly hypocritical about what I just said? Are there 220 different Uncharted games? Like I said there are new IPs that I WILL be purchasing, unlike the 3DS.
Also, the two articles are completely different. One talks of milking and the other is about launch titles. I'm sure anyone with a 3DS is just dying for a Mario title and would have loved to have one at launch. Not 9 months later.
Anyways, I just want to know what you're point was beca...
@hotsnail
are you really bringing up AA batteries? Really? You know how fast those things would be drained if they were tossed into a Vita or a 3DS? Then talk about how expensive that would make your console....Yeah, don't be foolish
The vast difference that I don't think you're seeing is also the number of NEW titles compared to the 3DS. Sure, there are remakes and what not, but its not JUST remakes.
There are plenty of bran new games set within familiar IPS and also completely brand New IPs all together. FOr me thats what will make it the perfect launch (window)
Uncharted Golden Abyss
Final Fantasy X
ModNation Racers
Ruin
Ninja Gaiden Sigma
You forgot a lot lol but its all good. its a lot to list
I wonder if Chris would be saying the same thing if this had been announced for the 3DS...
PS3 is a monster
3DS sales spike beginning to flatten?
PSP still selling but we'll see if people over there start to wait now that the Vita has a release date.
PS2 outsells the 360 again
Wii, and DS life is clearly coming to an end over there.
Hmm so the 3G plan is for set amounts of time online, rather than data size? I may just go for the 3G instead if its the same in the States. And there is gaming over 3G. At least in Japan. Pretty cool indeed.
I'm really hoping for a January US release. Please Sony don't make me wait too long!
Lol too grown? I'm 21, full time student, work full time, married (no kids). I'd say I'm pretty grown up and I still plan on having a Vita. If you don't want one that's you're thing but it has nothing to do with being 'grown up'
That's like saying someone is too grown up to play video games or go on a website dedicated to video games. No one is too grown up for that right?
