Such a weird take , new trailer of game drops and your first thought is " where's the outrage" like bring out the pitchforks ?! that's very reddit behavior lol . You can't just expect everything currently in development to suddenly have a S2 verison in the works . The S2 just released and Nintendo has a whole generation to milk current and last gen ports just like the S1 did , if you can't see that you haven't been paying attention.
I wasn't forced to play it , was curious so I checked it out after it being in my library for a year . 30 hours is a sufficient amount of time to decide if I like it or not and if I wanted to continue , all in all it just wasn't my cup of tea
I got ZD for free somehow on psn ( i forgot how or why) and got FW because buying the FW ps5 bundle was the only way I could get a ps5 back when there were shortages . I wonder how many of those sold were under such circumstances , 38 million is still alot so i'm not trying to discredit its sales but it makes me wonder . I personally put 30 hours or so in ZD and have never touched FW
Most of these soulslike have been more Sekiro/Bloodborne then Demons/Dark Souls/ER , more action then RPG . I feel like there really isn't much of the latter honestly.
I feel like Souls-like should be rebranded and split into Borne-like and Souls-like as nothing has been really been able to imitate/replicate what Demons/Dark Souls/ER does . With that said there isn't enough Souls-likes
I highly doubt GTA6 will be $100 , $80 at most but R* know the real $ is gonna be the online/sharkcards .. buying the game is just a entry fee for them . $80 games are already backfiring for MS that they reversed coarse and any company that hasn't proven themselves with value, reputation and quality will be mocked and ridiculed now a days and probably have their studio shut down if they try some BS like selling their game above current standard of $70 .

I've always loved the build custumization and coop/pvp aspect of Demons/Dark Souls which is a major aspect most Soulslike always ignore . Bloodborne was great but I had no interest in playing it beyond my initial playthrough because pvp and customization was mid and ERs online functionality wasn't as great as DarkSouls3 ( ER lacked solo invasions, covenants, 4 person pvp while ds3 had 6, players being summoned as bosses ...ect) . The online truly put the Role Playing in action RPG wh...

I'm gonna sit out ps6 and just go PC at this point , everything that will get released on ps6 will also be on ps5 or PC . There are very few games that could warrant exclusivity or enough capable developers to truly utilize the technology even now to justify another console upgrade at this point.
The biggest factor for me is the way they butchered job design over the years , the casualization and over simplification really hurt a good chunk of enjoyment I used to have . Jobs lost any form of complexity and just became " press glowing button" DDR style for fighting where the gameplay loop is a about the 2 minute burst window . They removed most DoTS, timer mechanics , cast times, pets, RNG ect and all around homogenized everything . When you try and can cater to everyone .....
I can't really talk smack , I used to go to Blockbuster and Hollywood video every weekend . I'd pick 1-3 games everytime with only like a 3-5 day window to play them, talk about a money dump but I found and played most of my favorite games this way and those specific games that I loved I eventually bought . When your young and don't have a gaming preference and limited money a sub is fine , it's differently a better option and the lesser evil then what I had when I was younger...
I might get it for nostalgia purposes , 4 was my first foray into online gaming when I bought the network adapter for ps2 . I can't wait for the Underground games if they get remade
I wouldn't mind if it was 3D , I've been waiting for a true 3d Castlevania that's purely set in a castle with real Metroidvania gameplay since 3d gaming has been a thing . The only game that comes close is Lament of Innocence but it was lacking in that aspect to what I'm looking for with exploring and unlocking abilities for traversal in such , the only thing you could do in that game was double jump. A lot of weapon variety would be nice too. With todays tech I think Konami ...

i actually bought DQ8 on ps2 back in the day but mainly for the FF12 demo disc lol . I tried it but there were sooo many rpgs to play at the time that I think I played it for for a little bit before trading it in , maybe if they come out with a remaster/remake I'll try it out again

Doesn't really seem my type of thing , I've always been more of a pvp enjoyer and ER's pvp system wasn't good. Pvp peaked with Dark Souls 3 , hopefully DuskBloods will scratch that itch but I have my doubts
I think they should use some of their Ips to test the waters instead of creating something from the ground up , I think something LittBigPlanet would be I good contender but instead of DLC they just put out new Pass ever few months with new costumes,building materials and developer created content . Warhawk could be a good contender for a battle royal . The reason HD2 2 succeeded was because it wasn't directly competing with anything else.
