I think most modern hardware can hand most games on the market nowadays , I can't think of any modern game that would truly struggle . You might not get the full performance or graphics but same could be said about the base ps5 or S2 and they can play em just fine and especially since I believe modern hardware only renders what's on the screen with games built around ssd . Tech is just more efficient and less load baring then previous generations , it is almost to the point of plate...
I kinda liked SH4:The Room .. it was kinda weird ... in a good way
Sony's gonna try and take on 2 fronts in the coming years from the PC and portable market , PC is just the quiet competitor you know not beholden by investors and shareholders ..... "he who shall not be named" lol . You go on to steam and the first thing you see atm is the PS publisher sale , even Sony can't deny the ever growing PC market . Sony going after Nintendo in the portable space is a fools dream
PS6 will be out in 2027 , PS typically releases a new console every 7 years . They're not hold off releasing new tech to keep the ps5 going , it will still be supported though just like the ps4.
@S2Killinit
The price is definitely the main advantage but at the same time I'm thinking it will suck for in future when the PS portable comes out and you can't play any of them on it . I still like the convenience of digital though as my adhd ass tends to flips through games and wouldn't otherwise if I had to change discs every time. There's always pros and cons to each.
It's why I love video games , sometimes they're just meant to be fun , dumb and silly and not to always be taken seriously . I'm surprised Eminem hasn't been in more games before at least not to my knowledge . 50 Cent : Bulletproof and Blood in the Sand haha good times
I don't care if they're multiplatform , I just like games regardless of platform or exclusivity . It was honestly better then any of the Sony or Nintendo Directs in recent memory , I don't know what or who most of those games were catered to . My favorite games are all from 3rd party and most 3rd party don't do exclusives anymore . I'm a gamer not a fanboy

I feel you ,especially if it's a game I really like , generally anything physical I own are primarily RPGs as they've been my jam since the snes/genesis eras . PS4/XBO era games is what soured my taste for physical when they started selling incomplete games like FFxv but I think it's not as a problem as it once was . Metaphor is on sale on Amazon for 17 bucks for black friday so I might pick it up and haven't played BG3 yet because physical copy is just too da...
Gen Xers and Millennials bro ... they worship that shit like Golem and his precious lol . I've personally only bought 3 physical games since 2015 like FF16, FF7r2 and I bought AC6 a month ago on amazon because it was on sale for $20 since I rarely have seen it on sale on PSN . I got FFs physical only because I have all the other FFs on physical and I needed to justify why I bought the ps5 with a disk drive ha.
Damn some good looking games , can’t remember the last game show I saw that didn’t have cringe . MS maybe remembering who their core audience is . They cooked !!! This is from someone who always hated MS …. No remakes or remasters
SM is still a pc and confirmed you can install a second OS so you're not locked into only steam
Tale as old as time , make a trilogy of games with a couple spinoffs and then completely abandon the franchise ... classic Sony ... or just chase the current big money trends that never hit the heights of what their trying to imitate . Used to get a few new games from each dev every console gen , now we get a trilogy across 3 console gens that are overly bloated so they can have an excuse to raise prices . Totally complacency since XB fell off . It's a shame as I loved the ps2/ps3 eras ,...
@InUrFoxHole
LoL It's so easy to trigger people on this site . I tried to list a numbers of factors that could've been cumulative reasons to why it sold well but he and the down voters be getting mad and resort to name calling ... not even worth my time. Obviously if the 1st game sold like 25 mill and the 2nd sold like 15 mil then my point still stands that the second game didn't sell as well by a large margin . Add in bundles and the free giveaways ( with the ...
Could count as a sale if those people did the $10 upgrade , if I decide to try it out again I would definitely do it and I’m pretty sure a lot of those people did . There’s plenty of ways to prop up sales numbers even counting the lowest of margins lol
Pretty sure it was given away for at least a couple years or more . I bought my ps5 in mid 2022 and there was still that free initial ps4 essential collection up for grabs like H:ZD , RE7, FF15 , UC and a few others
Redemption-64
They gave that game away for free , even if you weren't subbed you could still play it as it counted as a purchase , you can't just believe Sony is so honorable and high and mighty that they wouldn't skew the numbers in some form ... so naive .
They basically gave the first game for free or at bargain bin prices or bundled with every ps4/5 before they jacked up the price again with the ps5 upgrade , most people on my friends list played ZD and of all those people only 1 played FW . I only tried ZD because I was a KZ fan and initial impressions had me curious but once I tried it I was like meh . Without massive marketing and push from Sony I wonder how successful it would have been and how part 3 and the supposed MMo will fair now th...
Pretty sure a big contributing factor is that they were bundled with the consoles at some point , I personally got the bundle because it was the only version I could get when there were ps5 shortages . They gave the first one away on ps+ the first couple years for initial ps5 adopters . I tried the 1st game for like 20ish hours , didn't really appeal to me and haven't played the 2nd even though I own it . The VR version was bundled with the headset and lego horizon added to the tota...
Why bring XB into the conversation since we all know it's a dead platform and trying to underplay the real threat to PS hardware dominance which is the PC gaming in all its forms
"Why buy a ps6" . is a legit question especially if you have a ps5 . What's gonna be so appealing that it's gonna push people to want to upgrade , it's certainly not exclusives and it's definitely not gonna be cheap if PS5pro is an indicator.
