Personally I feel it's a welcome change. These guys calling rockstarlazy seem to have forgotten the amount of work they'll have to put in to make a world bigger than all their previous games combined.
Also they need to stop jumping to conclusions as there's no way your gonna have to play as three for all missions. It will be specific missions only and each character is gonna have a fully fleshed out story of there own(lazy i know). Think of it as bee able to play...
I'm gonna put my money on a competitive mp for vita. I remember Sony bend saying when questioned on MP for golden abyss that there were no plans to for it AT THE MOMENT. Maybe Sony decided to get aanother studio on it whilst Sony bend work a sequel to abyss.

I reckon one team should so jak 4 and the other do uncharted 4 BUT they should not release uncharted 4 til this time next gen so it's had a good 5-6 years dev time. When the team that's doing jak finishes they should then go on to do TLOU prequel. Also off topic I reckon TLOU should be a trilogy with this game being the last n do a prequel and a prequel prequel telling the story backwards :P
Thing is there's only TLOU I'm really bothered about Thats an exclusive. all the rest are multiplat so id rather play them with the best possible graphics. Also the ps3 will probably get another price cut before the last of us And In my opinion its more logical to wait a few more month as ive already owned 2 ps3s and would ideally owant to spend as little as possible on it.
My PlayStation broke beyond repair recently and I was dying to get another for the last of us. I've been a massive PlayStation fan since ps1 and was waiting for the new slim to be released but I may actually just get a Wii u for now and wait til the goty version of tlou before buying a new ps3 as the price will have dropped and the last of us will be the complete version.
As do tv, movies, school, society, music..etc. no one can say whether or not games Influence behaviour, as There is so much violence and negativety in everyday life. no one could actually pinpoint the root cause Unless it started at the same time as child started using said medium.

I reckon they should carry on until they have created an open world solar system.
Would also be cool If as many studios could help this project in spare time etc.. each studio doing a different city until the whole world is created as accurately as possible and used in games like skyrim and fallout. I know it wouldn't happen but would be so beneficial to gaming

Yeah I know, I never said it wasn't. N I understand about the grainyness too but reading under the video it goes on to say that it's running on old code and the new code is Much less Grainy. Dunno what specs its running on but that video could of just rendered this article and all the comments pointless as we could have photorealistic games on consoles as soon as next gen.
I would love an mmo with uncharted level of production, animation and missions with huge set pieces and action. Until then mmo's are just boring. Take dc... if that was an offline single player game, would anyone be arsed? I wouldnt. In fact id probably take it back and demand a refund. Until they are at the level of AAA games then i'll pass.

Had to comment here. thank you for that video. Ive felt for a while that next gen would utilise ray tracing, this pretty much confirms it. Who needs avatar graphics when we can have life graphics.
