yeah cex do mainly deal with preowned stock but they pretty much get any big deal title in as new from sony and microsoft now about 20 copies per store each, they have to in order to keep business nowadays. i don't think it's very an official company thing just certain franchises.. they get it at least a week early and sealed. and online retailers have already been sending it out early, i read an article about it earlier.
they haven't been stolen... one guy bought his from cex. cex often get new games in a week or two before release as certain stores have deals with sony and microsoft distributors, also online retailers have sent out copies early. this is just an excuse to hide the fact that the real reason they are out early is due to retailers been confused of the release date due to it changing every other month.

Dear ND, I do not want this game spoiling for me. i have tried as much as humanly possible to avoid the majority of trailers and info. i have the digital deluxe version pre ordered, please just release it already. the game is gold and i am sure you have already started distribution to retailers. so why hold off any longer?
my only concern is that when the ps5 is released the noticeable increase in power will no longer be that
noticable. it wasn't set to be that big anyway but now its gonna half what it could have been. whilst i'm probs gonna get one as i plan on getting a 4k tv by September i'm also a little disappointed. personally i enjoy sticking a game in my shiny new next gen console and been wowed by the graphics. now i wont have that pleasure.
