I understand what you're saying. Each time I play is different but it's also exactly the same, get here collect resources kill/don't kill guards, extract person. Whilst I understand the amount of possibilities for varied gameplay after 40+ hours of doing the same mission, no matter how I'm aproaching it it feels stale.

I've tried as many different play styles as I can imagine. That doesn't change the fact that all I have to do is execute or extract a dude to finish a mission. No playstyle is gonna change how a mission is completed

It's a good game. Nearly finished the main missions. Not game changing or a masterpiece by a long shot.

I've been gaming for 26 years and have platinum trophies for all the uncharted games and the last of us. I have also owned and supported every playstation console since the first playstation. Yeah man that's what I was thinking plus there's effects missing like wet drake...plus the shadows look better on the ps3 version. I know its gonna be good n i cant wait to go through the serues again, i just really hope it gets the polish it deserves. you can tell it isn't a naughty dog port.

Would be cool if they used this tech to create a time travel game. Been able to travel through time and have the planets age appropriately. Have ice ages and even the end of the planets life. Also having the life on each planet evolve.

@orbilator I agree man, I keep meaning to go disc free as I keep trading in my games when new ones are released then find a week later I wanna play them so have to purchase again. I'm wasting too much money, especially at the rate trade values are dropping this gen.
@nitus dude I work in a game shop, saying blu ray discs are almost scratch resistant is a load of rubbish. I see discs everyday that are damaged just as bad as dvd's
I work for cex and in the last few weeks we have had 3 xbox ones including a staff members that have failed to read disks. Never seen this issue on ps4
A rocksteady superman game would be excellent. People say cos he's op it wouldn't be fun. This just means devs have to actually be creative in coming up with new gameplay ideas and mechanics which could then influence a ton of other devs to actually come up with some thing new instead of rehashing the same game over n over again. I like the idea of a new ip at the end of this gen. Imagine the next uncharted implementing all that naughty dogs learnt with tlou then tlou 2 (new characters before or after Ellie n Joel's story (comeback to them a few games down the line)) taking what they learn making that and implementing it in tlou 2. By the time the end of gen comes the engine will be sick, the code will be optimized and it will give them time to get a solid story down.
I don't know about drake being kidnapped but I like the idea of playing as his kid then in time their kid. Go through generations or drakes instead of a never aging character. Nd have already aged him quite a bit over three games so they can't just stop. He's gonna have to retire or die at some point. Maybe drakes kid and old drake go hunting pike drake n sully kinda thing.
It is one of the lower priced games. Ps4 UK game rrp is about £50 tomb raider can be purchased in store for £40
And without preowned games, stores will shut down not only killing a large part of the industry but also removing the chance of impulse buys and free advertising these companies provide on a daily basis to all developers. Massive loss of a sales across the board for the sake of a couple of quid when they make millions anyway
Free flow could work. Instead of punches n kicks is super powers... when superman attacks the enemy he super speeds towards them like in man of steel when faora is facing the army... would be cool or is the free flow worked for dodging at super speed. Could be a cool mechanic to play around with :)
