If ps4 is AMD based it will be maxed out at launch because devs are already used to working with that tech so unless Sony lock away some power till half way through the next cycle we won't see stuff like uncharted 1 to 2 leaps again (except at the start)

I bought a vita for soley for this reason, I was going on hols and wanted to play uc3 and mp3. Was so disappointed when I realised it wasn't active!

, Ellie will manoeuvre the best she can to flank the enemy then stab them or brick em. I think what they meant by being positioned a certain way was Joel had n way to ge to the enemy without being shot so Ellie steps in.
It's not just position but health, ammo etc are taken in to account. It's what they call the balance of power. Animations are worked out on the fly too depending on environment.

You'll fight the same guys but they will react differently depending on your ammo,health,environment each time you fight them. If you choose to fight them at all. You can just ignore them and sneak past if you like.

Like he said during the demo, the system assesses the situation. It checks for ammo, health, character positions and so on then says wether Ellie should try flank the character or throw a brick at them or if the enemy should come out of hiding. Like he said about the animation a few seconds before he says that the engine will assess the surroundings and play the most suited animation to match the area. So even the animations are worked out on the fly.
So kinda like Netflix but with info coming up on your phone??

I haven't failed to see anything, I'm totally aware of what I'd be paying and it's still worth it. Imagine being able to play as many psone games, ps2 games, psp games, Ps3 games, ps4 games, psvita games, all multiplats, watch unlimited movies and tv shows plus unlimited music for one monthly subscription on any device. That means ps4 games on vita!!! How can this be bad for a gamer??

Cool, that's you prerogative. I just see it as pay for one game a month but get to play them all...I'd still buy the games that I really want to own, just think this service would be genius if applied correctly.
What of you could temp download games to your hard drive I case of situations like you said? By the way it isn't a contract it's a monthly subscription that you can cancel at any time....

If they supply it to all the big tv n bluray manufacturers, it's already on phones, pc and mac Plus the stand alone box that onlive already has. Fill it with every ps and multiplat release. Upgrade output support for 1080 3d with further support to come for 8k 3d when needed. You could even watch films and listen to music from SEN directly through the app. All with one monthly subscription fee of say 29.99 or summet.

This will be great! all they need to do is stream in hd cos onlive how it stands, in sd is not good enough. Only thing is, this could mean its the last gen for Sony as all they need to do is upgrade the onlive system and servers to accommodate next next gen graphics. They could even do this in middle of next gen which would then destroy the nextbox's graphics and constantly be on par with pcs
@jazz yeah but your missing the finer details m8, golden abyss was done by a new studio for a new platform. Tbh you could tell it wasn't a naughtydog game and the vita desperately needed it for launch.
Resistance has had 5 titles over 3 platforms.
This will be gears fourth title on one platform all by the same dev with the last major release being the end of last year.
Unless its a next gen launch title....
