Thank nintendo for reeling them in with the wii
It's clearly rhetorical.
@palitera yes their own money, they're an indie label and the game is self published. So it's their money.
Call them what you want, I was saying the same thing at launch. However after working their arse off and giving away content for 3 years theyve earned my trust back and I am willing to give them the benefit of the doubt and believe the official story.
The service is unsustainable. It's okay saying as a consumer I'd rather have a massive library of games for dirt cheap but theres gonna come a time when the games stop coming because they arent even making 10% of what it cost to make.
People need to stop being so short sighted here and actually buy the games you want to see more of.
Think about how many people picked up gamepass for 1/2 pounds to play gears. That money will be distributed between the devs...
I wonder what percentage sony would have if they added their games day one and then gave the service away? 🤔
@Tk
What does ps+ have to do with taking away ownership?
As a recent gamepass customer I can tell you I wont be renewing after my £2 for 2 months offer has ended. I havent even played any of the games for the last 2 weeks. I'm about 8 hours into gears and can tell you I'm not gonna finish it cos its crap.
This is in the same month as buying a new gaming pc (always been console) and even the excitement of having a new system in the house playing at much higher graphics and framerate than my pro isnt enough to keep me playing. ...
Probably cos they're gonna see a massive loss when ps5 launches so they're cutting costs elsewhere.
Nah it's not. Yeah the marketing and launch were shit and shouldn't have happened like that but Hello games have supported nms for 3 years with no sign of stopping any time soon. Expect another 2 years of free content at least.
Also they have more content and fixes in one update than most EA games see in their lifetime. They've literally delivered hundreds of lines of patch notes since beyond alone, never mind the last 3 years... From a team of about 20... With their own ...
I'd literally rather take a job "getting paid $12k to $15k every month. Earn money from home and just work for 3 to 4 hrs a day" with Momisavo here than buy another EA game.
I can assure you this has less to do with how they entered the market and more to do with their ancestors getting nuked by America.
Remember that time when america nuked Japan...? I wouldn't buy from a country that did this to my ancestors either.
Gtfo
Anyone follow kojima on twitter, it's the cg trailer he worked on. He didnt outsource it like normal cg trailers. Who knows what software he used?
Just cos they have the resources doesnt mean they are gonna continue sinking money into a burning ship. They're losing money on consoles, losing on games and losing money on their streaming services. It's only a matter of time before they pull the plug and I recon next gen will be the last one before they focus solely on publishing.
They're not.
Theres a reason licenced games sucked up until recent years... nobody wants to go back to that.
Yet much more sustainable than gamepass.
I mean number one already had a last man standing, it's just an expansion in what's already there really.
I imagine this is what n4g would have been like when team deathmatch was first introduced, should it have been around at the time.
It was doing just fine without casuals or mictotransactions.
