Did they win anything? I don't recall. I never watch those Vgd's or whatever there called.
I have to say next-gen I have my eye on PS4 for this reason. I've been talking to all my faithful Xbox buddies and the only thing we are waiting for is whatever announcement M$ is going to state. If in this illumiroom gimmick laden dog and pony show they don't mention things like "$50 bucks for a year and free games with your subscription"
We've all decided to go with WiiU (which some of use already have) and PS4.
We just need more bang ...
(snikers) I love these kinds of articles. They make my day. Heres hoping the next-gen is not a wonderland of shooter-fest happy cults. Salud!
Let me give you a crazy ass example.
I downloaded Monopoly Hotels (from EA) cause I love all things Monopoly. I would mind spending 5, hell even 10 bucks on an app game. But I want the full game.
Guess how much it was to buy 90000000000000 Gold coins or whatever it was?
$99 dollars.
100 bucks to play a dumb-ass, silly doll house game. WTF is that!I laughed, and I erased this abortion right from my KIndle.
If this is the future...
Now I know the date to stop playing games. Thanks bro.
So its based on First Blood?
Thats a cool idea, but he looks like he could use a few more hamburgers in his diet. Plus whats up with his face?
This article is a little misleading.
10% off the white WiiU console? Nobody I know even considered that model. They all buy black.
I was all ready to buy a few cause the price was "SLASHED" and I see a picture of the black deluxe set on the article.
I think its more a piece to get hits. You know, "Let's hate on WiiU Day"
I have a theory on this.
Not based on hard numbers, but observation.
COD is like the equivalent of going to your local sports bar. Its tapped into a social vein and theretofore its not so much COD itself, but it represents.
Hanging out with your buddies, downing a beer or in this case shooting some sh!t, talking trash and buggin out on the last ricochet bullet that offed your opponent.
Publishers see the numbers and I think they suspe...
Not necessarily true.
They've (like most gamers) have grown tired of the same ol stuff.
However, when some real innovation has spurred here and there, they step right up to the plate and give it praise.
Ni No Kuni, Xenoblade Chronicles, The Last Story come to mind.
All regarded highly and rightfully so, but the blanket love for all things spiky haired and big "sworded"...not any more.
LOL....no. The answer is no.
Holy crap! I remember that book/magazine. I think I wrote that program. I followed the instructions. I cant remember what it was though. Didn't just have letters or something that moved around?
LOL.
Fallout 4 please.
Didn't know that.
Wow, this brought back memories.
These are the platforms I've played on (that I can remember) Vic 20 then Commodore 64/128, Amiga, Mac, Atari 2600 (and the Sears knock-off), Jaguar, Neo Geo, Dreamcast, Sega Master System, Pentium 286/386/486, NES, SNES, N64, Game Cube, Wii, WiiU, PS1, PS2, PS3, Xbox and Xbox 360, Colleco Vision and Adam computer.
I remember those huge books that use to come with my RPG's. I just knew I was in school when I saw that damn thing,...
I have zero concerns with Nintendo. They will have a great line up of games, they will have strong 3rd party support and they will have a great run.
Some of it is wishful thinking some of it is based on my experience for bringing the my WiiU to bear when my friends come over.
They sit, they play with it, they see for themselves what the system can do and what it is capable of and when they leave, there perception of the tech is not as they thought it was.
Thing is, Nintendo needs a unified system. A way to know that my account, not the device bought certain games so I can do with it as I please. Bring my games to another device, WiiU whatever.
This would go leaps and bounds into taking their network strategy seriously.
Other than that, yes the a big enough memory card can be used.
Sad thing I have my 16 gig filled to capacity. Bummer.
I like this list, but I would have to say that it was Mario 64 that taught us all that platforming was a viable thing in 3D space.
Other than that, I think the list is pretty good.
I don't have a lot of bubbles and I am not trollin' Simply stating my opinion.
But I've played them all.
From Amnesia, to Resident Evil and from Dead Space to Lone Survivor.
Setting mood? Perhaps. I think Amnesia and Silent Hill do this best.
But Terror or horror? I have never experienced.
and I don't mean jump scenes, like something you would see in Paranormal Activity. I mean true, wet your bed terror. Tue kind of thing that g...
..going to??
Hmm, they really want to tank this industry.
