I'm gonna have to disagree. I cant remember a demo that was bad, or mediocre and the game tuned out to be a super polished gem. With must have status.

I was following this project when it was called Overstrike.
This demo is not what was discussed in their vids. This is pure run, gun and pray. You can throw all that strategy and working in unison right down the toilet.
Maybe those "strong ties" they have with EA will surface somehow.

Don't know what game this guy played. The demo I played was a hot mess.
Zero strategy, bullet hell gameplay which essentially means run and gun and pray for your life.
The AI is beyond retarded.
And the game has no personality of its own. You can clearly see the influences of other games right there on it sleeve.

I don't know I played them both (3 if you count Game Dev Tycoon) and Story is awesome, Tycoon is also great, but this game lacks in a lot detail. Half the time you don't know what your are doing and how to make it work. It needs a tutorial badly.
It SEEMS to me that the more furniture you buy the more they produce. Which is in essence The Sims not a game company simulator. I have no idea what my staff is thinking or doing, or how to train them.

Well, somebody has to have the most viewed "indie" website. But I know lots of gamers with sites that put in HARD work also and they get NOTHING.

Gotta say, this game has nothing going for it other than the setting. Its a shooter with some great setting and a a deliberate pacing.
There is nothing spectacular at display here AND there was not reason in God's green Earth why this game couldn't have been on the WiiU. In fact, it could use that business.
You got that this right. Mostly cause of competition from all over the place. But still, the way game sales are going. These companies wont be able to justify their existance. When 3.4 million sales is considered a failure. Time to get your reading books out of the closet.

I had high hopes for this game. I played the demo and I was expecting something a little more tactical. This thing is 100% run and gun. The latter level when you are fighting those mecha, was straight out of Vanquish.
I cant see, even with human players how you can set up any kind of co-op attacks. I was running for my life most of the time, let alone a moment to think about what strategy I was going to use and lets face it, that what the game is taunting itself as.

Please, there are tons of games on 3DS that are blazing. This is ONE of them. Since I bought the 3DS there hasn't been a time where I left it home or it was collecting dust.
Get ready for, "lower than sales projections" Type articles. Then the "we are laying off everyone and their mother" articles followed by "if we couldn't sell 25 million copies in 1 hour, then the industry is in the verge of collapse" articles.
Agree with article. Most indie games are pure garbage. Very few look like more than 2 seconds was applied to design and thought.
However, when they are firing with all pistons on, the results can be magical.
I wont even get into ANY game app available on smart devices, that s a virtual minefield of ripoffs, scams, 3 color matching games, find the hidden object games and money pit games. Total ass.

I would think that they are in direct competition with Syfy last, greatest sci-fi show. Battlestar Galactica. Which was an awesome show. In fact SyFy tapped these guys to help with Defiance.
