Not sure PC games will DIE, but I was in the same boat as you. My PC, even after dumping TONS OF CASH into it to play the games "THE WAY THEY WERE MEANT TO BE PLAYED" ... only to be OUT OF TOUCH within a few months.
No more running ROger Wilco for VOIP rather than the crappy ingame voice most games offer and no more battles to track down friends and constant IP changes due to providers with my PC.
XBL is nothing shy of a JOY to play on. Never had a better, EASI...
Don't get me wrong. I wanted it to be wireless as much as anyone else did, but to say by virtue of the PS2 having a wireless guitar makes it superior is crazy.
If I have to give up wireless to have
-exclusive tunes (which are great songs)
-XBL downloads for tunes and stuff to keep it fresh
-Online play
-that litte SECRET attachment they are not spilling the beans on yet

Update worked fantastic for my 360. GOW update with no issues using VGA and love the new maps.
I see no "HOLY CRAP" factor in this AT ALL.
Current stuff on the PC looks better than this.

A breakout extention or a USB extention and I am good to go.
Got the console update, go the new GOW (and COD3) maps and the GOW update and my 67 inches of HD glory looks just as good as it did before.

So many folks get soooooooooo hung up on that. I'd rather have a decent looking game that runs fantastic with a great story and gameplay more than a KILLER LOOKING game that is JUNK !!
If they can give KILLER LOOKS "and" KILLER GAMEPLAY cool ... but looks is not as high on my list of MUST HAVES over GAMEPLAY
.. but to be honest, I just wish they would open up the MOVIE and TV download section to other folks other than the USA.

My 360 is in a wall unit above my 67" HDTV and I normally sit 10 - 12ft away.
