Not scarred, but I just find myself being a big fan of facts !!

Personally, I still think the best bang for the buck is a 1080p DLP set. FANTASTIC PQ, crazy cheap prices for very large screen sizes. The cost of a $200 bulb every 3 or 4 years is a small price to pay for the fantastic performance you get from them.

I don't see getting a 1080p 71" display for approx $4500 (seen in cheaper) in a flat panel any time soon.

Their is NO MISTAKE ... go see for yourself. You should really look more into things before just shooting into the dark.

Companies CAN'T LIE on retail boxes. They will get hung out to dry. If it says 1080p ... it is NATIVE 1080p.

Same as why it says 1080i and 720p. It doesn't say

720p, 1080i, Stretched 1080p

Get a grip man !! Stop turning a blind eye to facts just to suit your story you want to be true.

This is only one of many areas. I also remember Sony giving me that warm and fuzzy feeling by saying that and not pulling it off.

Read it close, the level of hype in 1999 is the same as now. Maybe they used the same speach just changed some words around. And I fell for it with the PS2 .. sorry Sony ... not this time around !!

To bad nobody outside the USA has the download of video content from the TV SHOW section of the 360. Not even sure if I am wording it correct since I am in Canada and NEVER experienced the MUCH WANTED TV/MOVIE download options.

HEY USA .... there are more folks in the world other than you !!

No offence to the US folks, more toward MS needing to open up to the world.

Yet, MS doesn't want me to create a US account, well I guess I may have to just to...

[quote]but as far as im concerned, CNET is one of the best review sites on the internet.

Try engadget or any of the 50 other reviews sites. Cnet really does suck !!

HDMI is found on every new HDTV in the past year or so.

Although the 360 will give you Games, HD-DVD and upscaled DVD's when using a VGA cable and a HDTV that has a 1920x1080 accepting VGA port, not all HDTV's have a VGA port that accepts 1920x1080. Some do not even have VGA port (but they do have HDMI)

Component will also pass 1080p, HOWEVER .. due to restriction on HDCP content control (copyright) you will get games in 1080p, HD-DVD in 1080i, and no upscalling ...

First off, I am a 360 owner and LOVE it .. however, to correct you, the VGA output on the 360 is ANALOG.

How do I know, the LCD 1080p set my friends has has no VGA or DVI port but does have HDMI. HDMI is all digital. So we also thought the VGA out was digital on the 360. If it was indeed outputting digital, no issue ... HDMI accept only digital signals .. NOT analog. So we got a VGA to DVI adapter and then a DVI to HDMI adapter. After all it is all digital and it should work pe...

It is a cool item, but this is the 2nd time today it has been posted and I had mine posted on the same machine (just now pelican owns it) 12 days ago.

Story #3:

These guys are clowns.

I didn't even read the article since the CNET reviews 99% of the time are USLESS ... if you bass any decisions from what Cnet tells you, you are in trouble. (this is for ANY PRODUCT)

On MANY occasions the reviews they give (video or written) don't even give correct facts on products.

As I said, I did not even read this so I have no idea if Cnet is Pro PS3 or Pro 360, or straight down the middle .... and either way, it does no...

Are we still even being considered or is it now limited to Crackdown owners??

Not saying Crackdown is a bad game, but it didn't catch my attention very well. I do like the vehicles though .. :-)

Now that is an idea !!

This game to me is what CounterStrike use to be especially with the new Assasination multiplayer stuff on the way.

I really liked mine, the but amount of problems was enough for me to return it !!

BUT ... no online multiplayer really takes some of the shine away from it.

- Not wireless ( can live with that)
- No online multiplayer
