Quit praising this games mediocre narrative. You got the dark knight with lou1 and you got batman forever with lou2.

My time is valuable at this point. Why developers are focused on open worlds blows my mind. Linear is not bad. Look at the last God of war. Great game with a hub area. And the game felt complete with no padding. To me as far as ps4/Xbox era go. God of war is the perfect game.
I will give you spiderman ps4 though. That was "my" perfect open world game. I did everything in just over 30 hrs and loved it.
I disagree. I enjoy open world games but they insist on being like 100+ hrs of the same basic quests over and over. How many towers can I climb? How many enemy camps can I clear before it's just rehashed gameplay. It's too much padding at times. I enjoyed ghost of tshushima but a large chunk of sidequests were the same thing.
A lot of open world games lack any real inspiration and just feel hollow after a while.

I would not mind the recasting but we should start with legacy of kain.
Lol the maturity. You know God of war has mature story telling and the story made sense. Lou2 subverted a lot for the sake of it.
