Maybe a ghost of tsushima esque suprise after a few months
From the developers of such glitch fests as assassins creed unity to your favorite meh open world titles comes a generic open world star wars game.
Why the hell does every game have to be open world. Look at God of war 2018. It's got a fleshed out hub area and kind metroidvania but everything flows great and has depth.
Well their smoke and mirrors all of the xbox one generation was to say exclusives are coming.
Where is outbreak?
For your information, it is lol. Normally I wouldn't care but lou1 stuck with me hard and so naturally I had high expectations for a sequel and I was beyond disappointed with it.
I feel like it is such a misstep from the first game. Honestly I would of rather we never got a sequel at this point.
It somehow disappointed me more than MGSV (In story)
The ending - Ellie kills hundreds of people goes to kill Abby then changes her mind last second because of flashback to Joel she didn't have leading up to that with the countless other people she/you slaughtered along the way.
The farmhouse - if your talking about the ptsd stuff. It carries no emotional impact.
The zebra scene - what about it? Abby's dad is good and teaching Abby nice things? Then a sarah McLachlan commercial must cut you to the core.

Name one then
@Freshnikes
Out of all the people I know that played and beat both only 2 enjoyed part 2. And one even admitted the first game game was better and set the bar too high for part 2 to even hit in terms of just story.
@SullysCigar
Hatred? Just not blown away by the story. In terms of gameplay its awesome. In my personal opinion it's sitting around 6.5 or 7 and honestly that's just because what I feel is a weak narrative.
Look at the user score on metac...
This game is much more inferior to part 1.
Name a scene from part 2 more emotional than
The opening
The ranch
Or fleeing the hospital in part 1
The first game was definitely more well loved compared to the split on this sequel.
*shudders*
Omg it wasn't lou2.
@Final_Aeon
I'm just backing your points up and agreeing with you. Of which no one still has named a scene from part 2 that was better than 3 best scenes in part 1
The problem is the media cares more about being "woke" than talking about the actual game. In my opinion Lou2 is overflowing with virtue signaling aspects. I hate that by default if you don't love the game people assume that is why you don't like it.
I don't like the game for the writing. I think the bulk of the characters aren't interesting, Ellie is not written as good as she was in the first game, they make Joel seem like a pos and the dialogue is the l...
It doesn't matter because people will bring up the "player choice" awards. Dude out of the 10ish gamers I know, not one including me votes on that anymore.
And if you want to bring up that train of thought let's talk lou2 metacritic score with 150k votes and it sitting at a 5.7. I personally think the game is a 6 or 7 with the story dragging it down.
@Final Aeon
Name a scene in part 2 better than arguably the top 3 scenes in lou1
The ranch
Hospital
Opening
Once I realized not one scene even came close to any of those in part 2, I realized how underwhelmed I was by part 2.
I can pop lou1 in to this day and feel those character emotions from beginning to end. I get an empty experience in part 2.
People just like to make part 2 sound way deeper than it is. Trust me I&...
Trash story
I played and beat the game and I still hate it. I beat the first game and immediately started a new play through.
Lou2 I beat it. Uninstalled it and moved onto ghost. I wanted to love the game but it was so disappointing. If they ever bring mp back I'd buy it though. The gameplay is amazing.
@VerminSC
Give me a scene in lou2 better than
The ranch scene
The opening with Sarah
Joel fleeing the hospital
Joel and Ellie were better written and more interesting than any character in lou2. And you got lucky with the actors of Joel and ellie just having great chemistry.
You get none of that magic in part 2. In fact the best emotional scenes in part 2 are flashbacks with Joel and ellie.
They have a bs excuse for everything. They lack any big creatives. They pushed modern gaming towards cookie cutter game design. They think they don't need inventive people to helm projects. They see a hole in staffing and put anyone there. That's most studios today though.
