it wont change Ryse at all...because Crytek bypassed the hardware scaler on the Xbone
lets see what those who defended the filter as simply "more detailed textures" have to say now that they see a proper image....
this is a wonderful move by MS
where to start?
- the Xbone "dominated" December (in the US only for the record) because the PS4 was simply sold out...you absolutely could not find one to buy...you cant sell more of something that you can manufacture...thats just fact
-Evidence suggests (based on the rest of the EA games on both platforms, if you actually bothered to read the article) that Titanfall would sell more on the PS4 than the Xbone...obviously this is not set in stone...b...
- the bass impact bothers a lot of people, including me...i dont own them, but ive tried them...if i had them i would leave it off...
- these are EXPONENTIALLY more comfortable than the Pulse Elites...
- they dont suffer from the cracking issue that the elites do if you take them off the wrong way
that being said...if i already OWNED the Elites...i probably wouldnt buy these Gold ones...when you weigh all the pros and cons they are probably ...
couldnt disagree more about the build quality...they fold very easily...but they dont for a second feel like they are going to fall apart...AT ALL
to be completely honest...i dont like the way virtual surround sounds on ANY headset ive used...so i play with them in stereo...because i think it just sounds better...
99% of the time i use them is late at night so i dont bother others in the house...so when im really being competitive im using my real surround speakers...
Nah...these are better than the Pulse Elites...just about everyone I've talked to that's used both agrees
The last thing I would say is cheap build...they are def quite well made...I have no complaints about them...
They don't hold a candle to my actual 7.1 surround system...and are not audiophile quality headphones...but they are comfy as hell, well built, sound good and are wireless...
For being able to game at night without having to turn the volume way down to not disturb others in the house they are WELL worth the $100
the problem with misterX and his delusional minions...is that they keep spouting this nonsense about all this hidden tech in the Xbone...and that MS has been holding things back in order to make Sony and everyone else feel like the console war is over and then they are going to drop this update and blow everyone away...
i mean its just the most asinine blind fanboyism ive ever seen...at least back in 2006 people actually had a point when they said "but the cell is powerf...
basically
Yes, all depends on how much money you want to spend...a $400 PC wont outperform a PS4 however...
where you at misterX?
actually in the case of the Xbone the ESRAM does have A LOT to do with resolution...because of the deficiencies in bandwidth of the DDR3 compared to the GDDR5 the ESRAM is needed in attempt to make up the gap...unfortunately with next gen quality titles you cant fit the whole frame buffer in the available space of the ESRAM...
because of this you have to work around it somehow...the easiest way is to drop resolution so you can fit your whole frame buffer into the Xbone's ...
gotta get rid of the extra stock somehow......i kid i kid...sorta...
shhhh....dont let MisterX or his friends know that this game looks incredible....
MisterX is that you? lmao...please just keep yourselves over in that livejournal blackhole of delusions...the rest of the world will thank you for it...
seems like a no brainer, but its quite the choice to actually make...my guess is that it doesnt happen until the first "slim" redesign...MS has gone on too long trying to convince us how integral Kinect is to their next gen vision...
it would be a big admission on MS' part to remove it altogether from the box...
Lmao
Yes film grain still exists, for movies still using film (a lot) and wider aspect ratios are here to stay...and thank god...your FoV is actually WIDER not narrower...but I wouldn't expect you to comprehend that...
Haha..please come on over to GAF, I implore you...see how long you last
@pyramidshead
WRONG....quote from Dital Foundry interview with Crytek boss Cevat Yeril
"Ryse runs at 1600x900 for best perf & res, we apply OUR upscaler for AA, framebuffer native 1080p..."
