im really excited for this game...i have always SUCKED at flight sims...but REALLY REALLY want this game to be good so i can get into it...

The way I understand the situation is that multiplayer maps will be free...these new expansion packs (co-op/horde mode, etc) will not be free

Nah...neither console is going to hit 1080p...last we knew the PS4 version was running somewhere between 720p and 1080p at 60fps...expect something like 1600x900 like Ryse...

kudos to R* on console parity...the games are basically identical in visuals and performance...they certainly have stepped up their PS3 programming significantly...GTAIV and RDR were nightmares on the PS3 compared to the 360...

Except just 2 days ago MS "confirmed" it was 1080p...and all the screenshots they have been releasing are 1080p...and the videos...also 1080p...

Have they actually been showing us Ryse on an Xbone at 900p upscaled to 1080p? Or have they been showing us Ryse at Native 1080p on PC Dev kits?...

actually was expecting rather large day 1 patches for both systems...the devs will be working on games/OS's right up until launch even though systems are already being shipped to retailers...
i never understood the problem with updates (on either side)...the more updates the better IMO...shows me they are working hard to improve the product

1. Drop the specs war...because you can't win it...the Xbone is less powerful than the PS4, everyone knows it at this point...so you've got to play to what strengths you do have
2. Youve lost a large portion of the core gamer/early adopter crowd so you have to convince everyone that your console is WORTH $100 more than the other guy's...you've got to get out and WOW people with Kinect, and the TV integration...make them feel lik...
MisterX says the Xbone has a modified AMD R9 280x and has just under 4Tflop's of power...certainly these compromises shouldn't need to be made....
